The hotel will be a wonderful stay when the building is completely remodeled,, but right now it isn't worth the money. The man told us not to use the elevator when we first got there because they were checking it to see if it worked properly. They had trash scattered all over the parking lot. Then, we all woke up at 8 in the morning to what sounded like thunder, but it was the construction workers working on the building. Also, the pool is located in a weird sport at the back of the building away from the hotel. I was definitely disappointed in my stay at the Comfort Inn La Mesa.
