we had a brilliant weekend away in Manchester this weekend. The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating! They allowed us to check in hours before the check in time as we had an early flight over and asked to leave our bags! Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

Sparkle - Transgender Festival

We booked in here for one night for the annual Transgender Festival Sparkle held in the Manchester gay village. We arrived really early Saturday morning with the expectation to drop our bags off and check in later in the day. The Reception actually checked us in there and then at 10.30am so we actually had the use of our room 4 hour early which was an excellent gesture Well done to them. I have scored the room based on the hotel being a four star hotel and the price we paid. The bathroom was good, excellent power shower and all other expected facilities. Good quality and very clean. Large flat screen tv in room. Bed very comfortable. My only dissapointment would be the size of the room, did feel 'slighty' compacted but certainly not tiny (but stayed in larger rooms than this for the money). Would return if the pricing was more realistic. Its certainly not a £100 a night hotel but as I said this was probably due to the festival going on (10,000 people attended this). Sash :)

Mum 60th bday weekend

Before going to the hotel I had been in contact with a wonderful lady called Debbie who saw to everything we needed As it was my mum special bday she sorted balloons and chocs and nothing was to much trouble . There had been a mix up with the room (my fault) and we had twin rooms instead of doubles however as soon as we went to reception they changed it straight away even though the hotel was fully booked . We could not fault anything location was great staff very friendly breakfast amazing Would highly recommend this hotel

Audition trip

Our stay was short and sweet. The reception staff were amazing, helpful and very understanding. We had to change rooms as were in an adjoining room which we could hear next door, due to being up very early next morning we asked to be changed, which they did very promptly and we had an amazing room. Will definitely stay again.

Small room, even smaller pool

Great location, great staff but the room was so small, pillows so hard and the pool was too public and small

ideal for a weekend stay

Stayed on a Sunday evening at the end of May 2915, after travelling back from completing tough mudder Midlands the day before. Two blokes staying on the 7th floor in what was a very small twin room. Beds were very comfy, staff very helpful, gym and spa area a real bonus free of charge. Parking nearby was £20 for overnight stay (ncp) with thistle giving a £3 discount.

Perfect weekend stay

Perfect location to explore the city centre, really close to Manchester Piccadilly Station. Stayed in a twin room. It was comfortable and spacious, had everything I expected. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful, gave advice for where to find nice trendy bars and restaurants.
