Too hot

A converted Halls of Residence, rooms are small. The problem here is that there is no air conditioning and the windows only open a fraction. A small noisy fan is provided. There is no way I willl be coming back because the room was airless and boiling all night.

Good for business

The Days Hotel has a lot going for it. My room was clean and ready upon arrival. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is just a short walk to most areas of interest in Manchester. My only complaint is that the walls are thin. I could hear my neighbors on each side, as well as people in the hall and students outside in the courtyard. If you stay at this hotel, bring ear plugs and you will be fine.

City Break

I recently stayed here with my husband. The hotel is very central and is only 3 minutes to the city centre. The staff could not be nicer or more helpful. The rooms are spotless clean and have everything you need. There is also a lovely bar and restaurant there. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

not a pleasant stay

1. when we arrived, wrong room number was given, we tried to enter a room which is already occupied, so I returned to the reception, they gave a new room but did not even apologise. 2. there was no air conditioning in the room, it is summer!!! 3. there are noisy guests (drinking) at the hotel's outdoor/gazebo area at the ground floor, and noise reaches the rooms at the 3rd floor (and we have to keep our windows open because it is summer and no air-conditioning). so I complained at the reception and said they are aware and they will do something about it. it was midnight. noise was only down for around 30 minutes but the same noisy guests were back until 4am.
