Fully integrated conference center and hotel in central Manchester

This is the best conference center combined with first rate accommodation and onsite business facilities in Manchester, close to the shopping and nightlife, with its own fine restaurant and several bars. Manchester Piccadilly Station is close by and there are 18 fully equipped meeting rooms. There is also a dedicated conference team at the service of guests, including a specialist IT staff. Business and pleasure find the ideal fusion in this, one of the North West's hotel conference venues.

For any visiting corporate guest or leisure traveler, the Chancellors Hotel and Conference offers superb accommodation, so that guests can relax effectively after a busy day of shopping or attending onsite meetings. There are 75 guest rooms over the two floors of the hotel and conference center, and all have beautiful and tasteful furnishings. Floor to ceiling windows overlook the spacious courtyard and provide the ideal levels of light penetration as well as splendid views over the surrounding lawns. In-room entertainment consists of large plasma TVs and CD players, and there is a direct line telephone in all guest rooms, along with high-speed Internet access. A dedicated conference centre with 12 meeting rooms varying from 2 boardroom to 125 theatre style. In the east wing are six modern and well equipped conference rooms surrounding the main Flowers lecture theatre. For a touch of elegance and style, located in the mansion house are the traditionally furnished C P Scott and Whitworth along with a selection of new and contemporary Executive Boardrooms. Housed within its own area these rooms are ideal for training, role playing, management meetings and interviews. All meeting rooms benefit from complimentary WiFi or broadband access. Screen, LCD projector, flipchart, Plasma TV and DVD player.

On the south side of the building overlloks the sweeping lawns. The Consevatory offers a light and serene retreat for informal morning coffee, afternoon tea or after meal refrehment. Our lounge menu is also available from 12pm-9pm

Excellent value, clean, warm and comfortable

Considering other accommodation(s) in M/cr - Gtr M/cr, I could not have wished for anything more satisfying .... from the helpful reception right through to the comfortable/quiet bedroom. The bedroom facilities all worked and the room itself was well furbished and very clean. Just a disappointment the bar didn't have (even one! ) draught bitter beer on sale! The breakfast selection and cooking was excellent.

Very good value for money hotel.

Very good value for money hotel. It is also a Conference Centre, so there is always plenty of activity, but crucially, I found it quiet at night, which is what I wanted. It is a few miles out of the city centre, but there are frequent buses a few minutes' walk away, and at least the car could be parked safely and for free. The building was warm and the breakfast excellent. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Recommended.

Very welcoming staff and service

Very welcoming staff and service brilliant. Breakfast excellent! Only one area to be concerned, the shower water was hot and cold so be careful. Besides, great location to relax. Will book again.

Had problem finding the hotel

Had problem finding the hotel as it is in the grounds of the University, so could do with improved signage. However, very good hotel and while it did not have a lot of facilities the car parking was excellent and was very convenient for a short trip to the City centre.
