The apart-hotel was very quiet, we saw very few other guests. The accommodations are very modern, spotless, fun decor, very well equipped kitchen. The only problem was that it was a really windy night and the rooms were warm, so when we opened the windows there was a lot of rattling and banging doors. We would stay there again - our young adult children loved it!

Luxury apartments for a great price
We stopped in Manchester on a driving tour of the U.K. with little exceptions and we were pleasantly surprised by a very modern walkable city with fantastic architecture, restaurants and nightlife. The Blue Rainbow is a 2 minute walk to downtown but a bit hard to find when you first get there nestled within a luxury condominium community. Great staff a full kitchen and very clean, don;t pass up the chance to stay here if you are headed to Manchester.

Short walk from hotel
If there is a football or rugby match on head straight to the Fan Park where the whole town gets together to watch matches on giant screens in an amphitheater.

Great Facility - Not So Great Location
The apartment was really great - good sized rooms with space between. Smaller room was right on the hallway so it was a bit noisy. Master was good sized with a nice bath attached. Kitchen was well stocked but the freezer was filthy. The walls could have used a fresh coat of paint. No restaurants nearby and none that delivered to the hotel. Nearest grocery was about a mile away. As there are residential apartments interspersed with the hotel apartments - you may have problems with noise that the hotel really can't do anything about! I would return though as the amenities are just perfect for a family. Unless you have a car it's about a $10 to $15 cab ride to the city center.

I would actually have the hotel stock your fridge/pantry if you are going to be there a while (we were there a week). It's great to have the cereal and bread they provide but it's nice to have fruit and snacks for evenings and the nearest grocery is about a mile away.

The rooms are very well equipped
The rooms are very well equipped and much more relaxing than a standard hotel room - it's much more pleasant being able to chill out in a proper front room with sofa and kitchenette rather than a tiny bedroom and a kettle. Enjoyed it very much and will be stying again. The location at the bottom end of Deansgate could be better but at these prices and for what you get it would a little churlish to quibble.
