Beautiful hotel which seems to

Beautiful hotel which seems to have been decorated recently. Bedrooms modern, light and airy with good facilities. Fortunately during our stay we had extremely good weather and therefore able to sit outside and enjoy their garden along the River. Fantastic setting. At weekends they have a BBQ. We ordered a bar snack from the Bar and paid a little bit more than usual, but in fairness the portions were huge and well worth the money. At the weekends especially, it is a very popular hotel, which is always a good sign. Staff were pleasant. Taxi for 6 of us to Windsor cost £20 and took abt 10/15mins. All in all, had a wonderful two day stay. One point: we paid for our room up front and didn't put anything to our room during our stay, but still the hotel took £50 incase we did. They promise that in a few days time it will be refunded. Don't see why they take it in the first place if nothing has been spent????

lovely weekend away

Our room was very comfortable & clean and it had everything we needed. It was a good size too, which I am guessing was a family room. The only fault was that we were on the 1st floor so we heard people leaving to check out, and people outside. Other than that a good place to stay, thankyou :-)

Comfy, but noisy

I had a single room which I got for a good price, but I was at the front of the hotel right next to a noisy main road, and above the busy hotel bar. Room decor and cleanliness was good, but the duvet on the single bed was very small and the room quite chilly. The riverside photo makes the hotel look a lot more upmarket than it actually is ...
