Nice hotel, great location
The hotel's location is superb. Just outside, the big bus tour hop on hop off bus stops which makes it very convenient for tourists.

Great location! Average amenities
You can't beat the location of this hotel. Close to Palace, underground, theatres, restaurants and local grocery. But everything else is just average. Room was clean, but the wi-fi is not free, minimal toiletries, and room temperature was not controllable. Don't eat in the hotel, plenty of other, more reasonably priced options within walking distance. Staff was courteous, and the car service to Heathrow perfect for early-morning departures.

Great central London location
One staff member could not bother to help with any simple questions. I understand it is Concierge's job but it would be nice to have the hotel staff's knowledgeable about basic information about Holiday schedules and major attractions. I agree with other reviewers about unprofessional staff members.

Great location
You couldn't ask for a better location. Very easy to get to on the tube from Heathrow. Just about a 2 minute walk from Victoria Station to the hotel. We could see Buckingham Palace from our window! Locatd in the heart of the theater district. The room was a very good size by European standards. the only complaint was that the front desk staff spoke poor english and spoke very softly. It got embarassing to keep asking them to repeat what they were saying. The restaruant in the hotel had some of the best food we ate in London! Nice bar as well.

Old hotel, good location
The hotel was two blocks away from the Victoria rail/coach station which has an express train to the airport. The hotel was average, staff was nice. However, the location was very good, close to shopping, restaurants and access to the tube which is excellent to reach all spots in the city.

Great for a weekend break
About 2 minutes walk from Victoria Station, short walk from places of interest (Buckingham Palace, e.t.c.), Well placed for accessing Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Regent Street, Clapham, very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, good service. We didn't have breakfast in Hotel but plenty of Cafe's serving full english and healthy breakfasts closeby. Will definitely stay there again!

London long weekend
Staff very efficient, room very clean & hotel very convenient for Victoria, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, Whitehall, Horse Guards, etc. Room tended to be a bit warm even though I set heating to low. Unable to adjust pop up plug in bathroom & toilet too near to toilet roll holders for comfort. We paid just over £150 p.n. room only which was a little bit on the high side as I think it is worth no more than £135 p.n.

Excellent hotel
I stayed at theThistle Westminster and it was great. The location is excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The only bad thing is that the bell boy never appear when we call him.
