Think Apartments - Earls Court London

The staff was nice and helpful and the location was good with an 8 minute walk to the Earls Court underground station. The office staff also printed out important tickets when we needed them. The room did not have air conditioning even through the vents and controls were in the room. The staff said it did not have air conditioning, but I think it was broken and they did not want to tell us. If you are not use to airconditioning, it is not a problem. The weather turned cool the second day we were there so we were only hot one night. The living /dining /kitchen room was small with a low, uncomfortable sofa, but the appliances worked fine. It was nice to have a kitchen to save by going to the nearby Tesco and preparing some of our own meals. The bedroom was big enough for one bed but little storage space. We kept the suitcases under the bed. The doors were glass which was weird so bathroom privacy was limited and lights shown in each room at night. The back apartments back up to a railroad track, so it could be noisy if you were use to quiet nights. For a family the apartment worked fine and the location was good for the main subway lines to the main London attractions. We also walked to the easybus pick up point for transportation to Gatwick airport.

WE stayed in London for a week with our daughter and son in law- the apartment was 2 bedroom/2 bath which was very convenient for us. The apartment was confortable, had a nice fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer. The location in Earl's Court was perfect for us and there is a large 24 hr TESCO next door- very convenient. On the downside, there was very little closet space, and no electrical outlets in the bathroom. While we had converters, there was no place to plug them in the bathrooms. The bedrooms were small but functional and the bathrooms were nice with a great shower. I would stay with them again.

Exactly what I wanted. My only issue is that the bed is immediately next to the corridor so is noisy at times through the night, but that is a problem with inconsiderate guests and not the apartments. I liked the security arrangements. The apartment had everything we needed and the staff were really helpful. We will stay here again on our next visit to London.

The room was not as spacious as I had expected from photos, but more space than a large double room. This is London. All you need for a short break. Kitchen area was adequately fitted out. Good size shower. Small designer 'handwash' basin. Clean. Air-con. Warm enough. Don't be put off by any negative reviews. We would go again. More flexible than hotel. Eating out for every meal in London gets expensive. 5 mins walk to Earls Court tube, and has large 24hr Tesco next door!

Our room was comfortable, clean and well eqipped. I found staying in an appartment much better than staying in a room where I am reliant on others. Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is good, within easy reach of bus, tube and a supermarket around the corner. I'd very happily stay again. Excellant value !

Large living room and kitchen, modern apartment, adjacent to a great supermarket where we buy good and cheap food. Clean once a week (if you want more, need to pay). Small rooms but with good closets. 10 minutes from the metro and close to points of bus. I felt at home.

We had a family vacation with our two teenage daughters in London. The staff were helpful and friendly from our arrival to our departure. The room was very spacious for the four of us (2BR), it's like we're in a timeshare modest suite. a good 10-minute walk to the train station, a grocery store next block, close to a lot of amenities. Well-worth our bucks.

Based upon price, this apartment is a very good value. Forget a lot of luggage. Pack everything you need in one carry on bag. Wash and dry every day in the in room washer/dryer combo. Forget expensive eating out. Cook in the fully equipped kitchen that includes a dishwasher. It's a bit of a walk to the closest underground, and it's not a fancy hotel, simply practical. We eventually agreed the extra walking was good for us. I'd stay here again, no hesitation.

I highly recommend this apartment. Stayed here with wife and two teenage kids, in a 2bedroom apartment. We were visiting London the week before the Olympics. Our other option was to rent two rooms at a more traditional hotel, and that made this a fantastic value! Location is in Kensington, right next to a supermarket. Since our unit had a small fridge, microwave, toaster, stove, all utensils, etc., we were able to stock up on breakfast and snacks and even prepare a few meals with no problem. Earls Court Underground station is about 5 easy blocks and was very convenient. We visited many tourist areas and could reach all on the same line or one change. Check in was super easy, staff was very nice and helpful. Apartment was very clean, modern and nice. Way more room then we had at a Holiday Inn by Heathrow (two rooms). Plus, there were no extra charges. We had free WiFi for the week (most hotels charge ALOT for this, not like in the states. Price was very reasonable considering room and amenities. In area, there are restaurants by Underground station (Other entrance, not Warwick Road), plus down on Kensington.

The apartment idea is great, location is good with short distance to buses and underground. But cheap materials have been used, floors are creaking, cupboard doors do not close, bathrooms walls damaged by water. So maybe there are better alternatives out there...
