Nice weekend away

Would not recommend Tue, Dec 22, 2015
Beautiful hotel and the room was great but was very noisy, we were woken every 30mins by air con units starting up, we should have complained and asked to be moved but at 3am you don't feel like packing all your stuff when all you want to do is sleep.

Great location, attention to detail

Would not recommend Sun, Dec 13, 2015
This hotel is in a great location near Covent garden, right opposite the London Eye. Rooms are tired and in need of updating, shower needed retiling. Reception staff were superb, the rest less so. Bar opens for limited hours but cocktails were good.

Lovely pre christmas girls break

Would recommend Wed, Dec 9, 2015
On arrival we learned we had been upgraded to an executive room which was a nice surprise. Lovely room . Breakfasts good. Very comfortable. Slight problem when ordering a bucket of ice for the room. Took three phone calls and after nearly an hour we were presented with an ice bucket. However when we suggested as we had such a long wait an ice bucket plus complimentary wine would be nice this duly arrived. Lovely afternoon tea but long wait for scones. This said the whole experience was a lovely prelude to Christmas

long exciting weekend

Would recommend Tue, Dec 8, 2015
The hotel met all our expectations. Everybody was most friendly and helpful. The hotel is tastefully decorated and well equipped. We visited the musical Cats and a concert, Light Classical Spectacular, in the Royal Albert Hall. both was fantastic. Christmas decorations always provide a lovely atmosphere in the city.

Wonderful Birthday Break

Would recommend Tue, Dec 1, 2015
This was a treat for my wife's 40th birthday, and fortunately it didn't disappoint. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped (although sadly we didn't get the river view), the staff were universally friendly and helpful, and breakfast (once we got a seat!) was great. Only downer was incredibly spotty WiFi and a slightly outmoded TV system, but they weren't really a priority and didn't spoil our stay at all. If we can ever afford to stay there again, we will.

Very nice.

Stayed at the Royal Horseguards with my mother. The hotel is very nice. Our room was decent but felt more 4 than 5 star. The lobby was lovely. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was mostly amazing. There was one who was abrupt, but that can happen anywhere.

Fantastic hotel in a great central location

Would recommend Tue, Sep 15, 2015
This hotel is extremely well located near to lots of areas of interest the main tourist attractions and handy for the tube. Twin room was clean and we loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom as well as the television in the shower. Lovely reception staff efficient check in. Concierge were good points of contact in the hotel & helped us to book tickets for the London Eye. The doormen we spoke to were polite & ensured we had umbrellas to go out with. Breakfast was plentiful & well presented. A great stay would thoroughly recommend this hotel in fact I have already to lots of friends. Look forward to returning.
