My Stay

Would not recommend Sun, Dec 27, 2015
Good. Room doors are very noisy to close. You constantly hear other guest doors being slammed shut. In dinning room, not enough staff to attend to the number 0f guests. Too much running about by the limited number of staff. Christmas Parties do interrupt the expectations of normal guests staying at the hotel and expecting service. I stayed for 14 days. This hotel does not deserve a 4 - Star

Reliable

I have stayed at the Rembrandt on several trips to London, and will continue to book this hotel. The location is amazing, the staff are very polite, including the ones who come immediately to fix any problem at all in the room. The breakfast is always great value and good tasting. The appearance of the hotel is impeccable. I fell safe wheneverI travel alone.

Great hotel in a perfect location

Would recommend Sat, Oct 10, 2015
This was our second visit to the Rembrandt, separated by more than a dozen years, and while the location is still the same (excellent) the hotel itself, accommodations and service, is much improved. We couldn't be happier with the choice and will pick it again on our next visit to London.

Excellent location

Would recommend Fri, Sep 18, 2015
We stayed six days. The hotel is centrally located close to the tube and the V&A. The staff was very polite and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. The room we had was slightly small. The room could use more light by the window. Pablo the concierge was absolutely fantastic.

Ladies Trip

Would recommend Sat, Jul 25, 2015
The location was excellent -- within walking distance to Harrod's and smack in the center between to tube stations. Sightseeing buses picked us up right at the door. The breakfast were very good with a big selection of items. The food in the bar area was also very good. The staff was excellent -- very helpful. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Fun, fun, fun girls' trip

Would recommend Tue, Apr 14, 2015
The rooms were quiet and easily accessible. We were also able to check in early which was very helpful. The location is the best for walking to the tube or hopping a bus or cab. Easy walking distance to all things touristy and Harrods. The concierge guys were extremely helpful -- our favorites were Paolo and Mr September (Employee of the month -- name?). The breakfasts had a lot to choose from and were adequate to start off your day. The snacks and appetizers ordered in the bar area were awesome. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our choice the second time aroun

Would recommend Tue, Jan 27, 2015
We booked a flight/hotel reservation for the Rembrandt three years ago, and again in January. Originally, we liked that the hotel is smoke-free, but the location is excellent, and we chose the hotel again. The location is great for London: across from the Victoria and Albert Museum, down the street from the Natural History Museum, and within walking distance of Harrod's. The breakfast buffet is the most amazing we've ever seen! Down the street across from the Underground are small excellent bakeries and restaurants where all types of reasonably prices meals are available. Also, when three years ago our daughter left her passport at the hotel and remembered when we on the way to the airport, the cab driver the hotel ordered for us turned around and the hotel had the passport at the front door for us. Imagine our surprise when the same cab driver took my husband and me to the airport this time again! We had another chance to thank him again.

Had issues with AC, finally moved to a different room after 24 hours. Super locations. Tour bus pick up just a few feet away. Harrods 5 minutes away on the same street. Great food near by. Free breakfast. Fantastic free museum across the street. Hotel had excellent customer service.

OK price, good location, chilly reception - Spa basically inaccesible

Would not recommend Tue, Sep 9, 2014
Not a bad deal for the most part, but we found the reception desk workers a bit gruff- the place seems understaffed. The doorman was nice as was the concierge but they were overworked. It took over thirty minutes to get a baggage cart to our room when we were leaving for the airport- barely made it! We were traveling with an infant and the three times we attempted to use the pool during our stay we could not get in (twice they were hosting swimming classes and the other time was after 6m- no kids). The pool (even with an additional admission charge) was a big reason we selected the hotel- to give our kid something fun and mellow to do while staying in the busy, big city. So the fact we did not get him a swim was irritating to say the least. No fan in our bathroom so it fogged up to the point that we were getting ready to go out still wet, wiping the mirror etc. Also the front entrance was under construction and messy looking. We were charged 32 pounds (over $50) to make one five minute toll-free phone call to our bank in America. This place looks great in theory but in reality, it's not any real bargain whatsoever. We're returning to London in three weeks and will try somewhere else, despite this being in a really convenient location.
