A tired old 5 star

FABULOUS, atrium that requires a 2 to 3 week advance reservation... but beyond the glitz and the glam of the grand ball entrance the rooms are very old and tired... Location is outstanding right in front of Green Park... I guess if you are on a budget in London and want to be close to Mayfair... there's no better deal in town for the price...

Weekend at the Park Lane Hotel

The staff were very nice. The room was huge for London (or any big city), very comfortable, clean, had charm, the bed was huge and very comfortable. They have a nice bar. Great location right across from Green Park!

Horrible, will never stay again

My room was not ready when I arrived, and at reception, the young woman insisted I sit in the one chair in front of the reception counter. ( sit is for my dog, not for humans) I waited for the room and even though it was a king sized bed/ room, it was located in front of the staff elevator and linen closet. needless to say, the staff traffic and also the constant slamming of the doors made it impossible to rest during the day. the property is old, and run down, not worth the cost per night. Though booked it because it is a Starwood property: its not at the level to be considered that. Italian restaurant at the lobby had substandard food quality: a real disappointment. The only positive point was the location, but I will never stay in this old, overpriced, mismanaged hotel.

Park Lane Sheraton

The hotel was old, but adequate. The bed was comfortable and room fairly big for London standards. We did have to change from a nicer room with a limited view of Hyde Park because the air conditioner was broken. The staff was terrific and helpful.

Magnificent place and location is perfect

This hotel is the one that k liked the most from all my five trips to London! If you turn left in few steps you are on oxford street, or if you turn right you are in a minute walk from the famous Harrods, I recommend it highly !

Great Location-Nice Hotel-Excellent Staff

So convenient! All the staff were so competent and polite, it made my 3-day stay a real pleasure. I felt so well looked after at the Park Lane. The concierges gave great advice on restaurants, tours--even church services. When I needed a reading light--someone was there with one within 10 minutes of my phone call. I couldn't ask for more attentive, interested service. Green Park tube station is just a 2 minute away, so's the start of the double-decker bus tour of London.

Great Central Location

If you are going to the London this hotel is a great place to stay! Its close to the center of the city and very accessible by walking and the use of the tube! Beautiful park and restaurants close by. The hotel is great, staff is welcoming and the hotel also has beautiful restaurants and lounging areas to get a drink or appetizer.
