Quite lovely without pretension
From the moment we walked up the front steps, we were greeted by a knowlegdable staff eager to ensure a delightful stay. Though able to maintain "English" sensibilities, the Mandeville created a very warm and personable atmosphere. Located in the West End, the Mandeville's location cannot be beat. Two large windows enabled natural light (when the sun chose to make an appearance) to flood the otherwise medium size yet comfortable room.

The perfect boutique hotel
I loved this hotel -- the rooms were spotless, the staff helpful and friendly, the decor stylish, a great bar and restaurant and wonderful location, just off the busy streets, a haven at the end of the day, but plenty of restaurants etc close by.

Great property, perfect location
I was visiting London for pleasure and just checking out the city as I had never been there before. The Mandeville is in an ideal location, right off Oxford Street and within walking distance to everything. It was perfect for a 29 year old single woman exploring the city. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and the room was lovely for the price- definitely small, but perfect for one and aesthetically very well done. I work in the boutique hotel world and this hotel is really very nice. The bar and restaurant were great as well. Only negative is that there are no computers onsite for guests. This would be a big help even just one in the lobby for guests to check things online quickly.

First class all the way!
We were greeted at the door and had excellent service throughout our 7 night stay. Everything was great, the little extras like the weather report on our pillows for the following day's forecast made our stay very pleasurable. I loved this place. Clean and comfortable.

Awesome Hotel & Staff
It's always hard to chose a hotel from the internet and hotel websites because on many occasions the photos are old. However, this is not the case for the Mandeville. My room looked just like the photo, although the room was small (typical for Europe), it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a nice size and the shower's water pressure is superb. This hotel has a great staff, they are friendly and provide awesome customer service. I will stay here again on my next trip to London

a great hotel package
This hotel was just great in every way - customer service, clean and accommodating rooms, quiet, close to underground. I am already recommending it. The only minus I have was that upon arrival, the person at the desk tried to sell me a more expensive room. Also, I should say that the price (airfare plus 4 nights in hotel) was right, otherwise, it would have been out of my reach.
