Overpriced

It seems that the hotel rooms cost the double of what it should be. The staff mean well but when you really need help you can hardly get it. If the staff members do not like their hotel how could you expect something else from clients? But the location is really good.

Nice Stay at the Langham

I just returned from a four-night stay at the Langham. The hotel was lovely and staff was superb. The room was smaller than I expected. I stayed in the "classic" but it was decorated beautifully and had a large bathroom. The location was perfect. There were cafes, restaurants and the tube all within a few blocks of the hotel. We did the afternoon tea and it was just fabulous! A little pricey but well worth the money. The concierge staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations. The front desk provided us with a late checkout and when we arrived I was feeling a little under the weather and they had my room ready within an hour (and well before the check-in time). My only complaint was an odor in the room that I experienced the last night of my stay. I needed to sleep with the window open as it was pretty potent. I am not sure what it was but reported it to the front desk on my departure.

Good hotel

Bit expensive given the "grand rooms" are really quite small, but overall a great hotel.

Excellent hotelbut a couple of minor points.

This is a very good hotel, superb location and facilities. A couple of points to improve though. 1) I went to the bar for a drink in the evening and was met with very loud disco music, conversation was impossible. 2) Buffet breakfast, the plates for the food were cold and the cooked breakfast became cold and unappetising very quiclky.

Lovely Historic Hotel

The Langham is a gorgeous hotel in a very central London location. The staff is exceptional. The rooms are quite small and breakfast is very expensive. We only had breakfast in the hotel one morning. There are several more affordable options down the street. The hotel bar is super fun!

Luxury at the Langham

From beginning to end, we enjoyed a 5* experience! The hotel is visually beautiful. We came during the holidays and the decorations were stunning. The rooms, newly renovated were classic, elegant and extremely comfortable. The linens were luxurious and the service was impeccable. Turndown service every morning with slippers and water at the beside and a replenishment of fresh fruit that we enjoyed for breakfast. The business center was very convenient and well equipped. The concierge was extremely helpful in working with us to resolve our cancelled flights due to the impending stike. Finally, the location is excellent. Just a 5 minute walk from the Oxford Circus line, steps from Regent Street and Oxford Street's beautiful holiday lights and bustling shopping but just around the corner - so as to enjoy the quiet elegance of the hotel.
