best value in london
the location just doesn't get any better. you're right at the square and in walking distance to buckingham palace, st. james park, picadilly, soho, west end and you're two blocks from the bridge that takes you to the ramblas with the fassis wheel and the breath taking views of big ben. i was very please with the value of this hotel as well.

directly across the street you will see a pub called sherlock holmes. just beyond that is a walking street of nice restaurants.

great location great hotel
I had to work some of the time when over there but my wife and sister in-law got to travel the City. The hotel was in a great location for the subway. location was one block south of Trafalger Square. Was in a very safe area. Dinning and pubs close if you didnt want venture out very far. With in walking distance of major shopping. London transit system if the best! I think it would be hard to beat the location and Hospitaly of this hotel

A Wonderful Stay & Unbeatable location!
The hotel is a gem! The rooms were spotless. The hotel is near the tube, train station, and numerous bus stops. If we had any problem with directions, the staff was very helpful. We will defiantly stay at this hotel the next time we are in London.

We had a studio room with kitchenette (microwave and mini-fridge) a must in London to save a few British pounds. There is a small convenience store on the corner from the hotel.

The Grand at Trafalgar Square
Enjoyed the central location, many of the key sights were even within walking distance. Christmastime was not the best time to visit London as many places were closed on the 25th and 26th, but we found enough to do to make it pleasant anyway.

Location and more at this great hotel
The location of this hotel can't be beat. We enjoyed our stay so much, we returned to London and booked rooms at this hotel again. The staff is helpful and they have a closet open on the floor with extras you might need. They could use more front desk help during busy times--but no other issues here

Fantastic Hotel for All!!
The hotel was a great central base to see Art Gallery/Museum and Theatres. The hotel was excellent, clean modern rooms with great facilities. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was superb, I cannot fault any part of my stay.

Great Location
Walking distance to Trafalgar Square, TKTS, theaters, the tour bus route. Nice, clean rooms. Negatives: Small desk staff for a large busy hotel. The internet never worked in our room despite 2 calls. Pricey, yet no coffee, newspapers, nice little touches you find at all of the less expensive hotels. Worth it to be able to walk to attractions.

Don't rent a car. Parking fees are obscene. Maps are terrible and traffic is bad. There's also a congestion fee just to drive in busy sections of London.

Great price, location, and staff
Wonderful hotel. Room was very comfortable and large. Shower larger than a single shower. Staff was very accomodating and helpful. Free washer and dryer available. Very quiet. Right across the street from Sherlock's pub - GREAT local joint.
