The Cleveland Hotel London

This is a wonderful small hotel in a great neighborhood, easily accessible to a wide variety of sights as well as small little restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful, the room is clean and towels and clean sheets are changed regularly. A small draw-back is the shower--water never gets hot enough. But truly this is a comfortable and good hotel choice, a place to come back to after a day seeing sights and walking.

We chose this hotel , based upon its value for money based upon a 4 star hotel in a convenient location. It more than lived up to our expectations. The only negative was our room was on the top floor , there was a lift for part of the way then stairs. Room was spotless , service excellent. The room was for 3 of us and the fold down sofa was easy to use and comfortable. The built in kitchenette was great. Very convenient for several tube stations and shops at Bayswater. Good Choice , would be happy to use again.

This was our 4th hotel in 4 nights due to an itinerary change caused by unexpected snowy weather. The Cleveland Hotel was an oasis. Clean, spacious, quiet, modern. Courteous and helpful staff. An instant espresso machine in the lobby. Hello! Our room for a family of 4 was actually above ground! (All of our other hotels had us in a semi-dark garden level rooms). We were only kicking ourselves for not having come here sooner! The hotel's only drawback is that it is a bit farther from the underground (equidistant from Paddington & Bayswater) if you have A LOT of bags to haul. I think this location only helped make the room more quiet (as the hotel one block away from tube station was like fraternity row at night. This was by far the best value, service etc. We would definitely come back here in the future and would recommend this place to anybody, ANYBODY as an undiscovered gem compared to what else is available in the area of Hyde Park or Kensington or Chelsea.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights as I was looking for something that was central to Paddington Station for the Heathrow rail transfers and had kitchen facilities. The room was large for London standards and extremely clean. The kitchenette was useful and included a microwave, cooktop, toaster and fridge. Useful for getting a few groceries and being able to cater your own breakfast. My room was on the 4th floor - which unfortunately did not have lift access. It meant taking the lift to the 2nd floor and climbing the stairs. This is due to the townhouse being attached by corridors on certain levels. The property is about 10 minutes walk from Paddington Station and Bayswater Station and 6 minutes from Queensway location. There are plenty of restaurants and shops near Queensway and Bayswater station to eat and purchase groceries. Would highly recommend if you don't mind walking to the distance to the rail/underground and be in a quieter location.

Last minute booking through e-Bookers - and what a find! 10 minute walk from Paddington station - apparently same distance from two Central line stations. Room was a good size, bathroom much bigger than the usual hotel bathroom, big double wardrobe - but it was what was behind the other door that was the real hidden gem. A kitchen! Well, kitchenette. Hob, microwave, sink. All perfectly clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful. I have already recommended this place to a friend. Very impressed and will definitely choose this hotel first next time I overnight in town. Having said that, I shall be lucky if it isn't full after this review! ;-)

The Hotel was located only a couple of blocks from Paddington Station. We were able to walk with luggage comfortably back to the station. Hyde park is right down the street and Oxford street is about a 10 minute walk. Lovely neighborhood. The hotel itself was nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The kitchenette was a nice touch for coffee and tea. We didn't cook with it, but it was clean and had all the tools you would need to make a simple meal. The bed was soft and the bathroom was modern and nice. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice rooms, nice staff, kitchenette even in the room. Location great because so convenient with Paddington Station.

the hotel was in a great location,near notting hill,and several metro stops. staff was ultra friendly, rooms were small but clean, lots of shopping and places to eat near bye. would stay hear again and agin

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room not large. Bathroom too small. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning daily. Kitchenette nice, but small. Enjoyed visit.
