Fine dining, modern styling, and in the heart of theaterland

The Strand Palace Hotel London is ideally located within walking distance of many of London's major tourist attractions. Guests visiting the city on business can make use of the hotel's nine conference rooms. There are excellent transport links right outside the door, including tube stations and bus stops that further add to the hotel's convenient location. The hotel's interesting contrast of a very modern interior with a typically old-English exterior makes for a comfortable stay and the on-site bar and restaurant serves various European dishes and a traditional British carvery. Wi-Fi is free of charge and available throughout the entire hotel.

I normally book at the Strand

I normally book at the Strand Palace because of its location close to Covent Garden, but facilities have improved so much that I would now be happy to stay because of the hotel itself. Although my central heating could not be made to work, the engineer brought me an electric radiator, which served its purpose very well.

I have stayed in this hotel several

I have stayed in this hotel several times and I will continue to stay there whenever I travel to London. It offers excellent service, a great location and very good value for money. Staff are always very willing to help and with a smile too! Definitely to be recommended.

Excellent base for walking around

Excellent base for walking around the centre of London. Room was clean and fresh, very quiet. Lots of facillities in the Hotel and staff were helpfull and knowledgable. Will definately stay here again.

Great location for both business

Great location for both business and pleasure. Club rooms very nice, single room small but adequate. No air-con so a little uncomfortable if its hot, but a fan was provided in the room.

This is a great location in London

This is a great location in London and I always stay here. Was disapointed this time that the prices had gone up (hey it is London so to be expected) but breakfast had also been cut from a club booking. This was an extra 15 pound a night. We just went up the road for breakfast at Prett a Manger for about 9 pound for the two of us.
