Fine dining, modern styling, and in the heart of theaterland
The Strand Palace Hotel London is ideally located within walking distance of many of London's major tourist attractions. Guests visiting the city on business can make use of the hotel's nine conference rooms. There are excellent transport links right outside the door, including tube stations and bus stops that further add to the hotel's convenient location. The hotel's interesting contrast of a very modern interior with a typically old-English exterior makes for a comfortable stay and the on-site bar and restaurant serves various European dishes and a traditional British carvery. Wi-Fi is free of charge and available throughout the entire hotel.

Absolutely Wonderful!
Having stayed many times in London, I can say this was by far the best experience I have thus far had. From the doorman to the breakfast staff, they hotel truly make you feel at home. I will certainly be staying here again next time I come to London. For all that, it wasn't awfully expensive either. Additionally, this location was particularly convenient for me as I had an engagement at the High Court only a ten minute walk away. I would highly recommend the Strand Palace not only for its intrinsic comfort but also for its superb location right on on the Strand.

Just down Whitehall, perhaps a ten minute walk from the hotel is Old Shades, a lovely little pub/restaurant with table service. You may pay a little more there than at other places, £15 per entrée, but WELL worth it for the intimate atmosphere and lovely food and craft beers.

Incredible location and comfortable room
If you are looking for a room to rest your head in and not worry about paying for services you don't actually need, the Strand Palace Hotel is perfect. I really had no problems at all and was quite comfortable despite a small room. The location could NOT be more ideal and you will be within walking distance to most sites, and there are bus stops within site of the hotel entrance and multiple tube stations also close. The concierge service was extremely helpful and very nice! I would highly recommend this hotel to someone wanting to truly go see the city, not stay in the hotel all day, but I would recommend the Club Package, as it did seem to offer a few more services! Being a single traveler, it was perfect!

My review of Strand Palace Hotel London
I was very happy with the Strand Palace Hotel. My room was scrupulously clean and well serviced. The location could not have been better, just a few minutes walk to Trafalgar Square and Westminster, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, the British Museum, Soho, and at least three tube stations. And of course being on the Strand, innumerable restaurants, shops, you name it, all easily available. Bus stop right at the door. A first rate choice for staying in London and I will be back.

Très bon hôtel
Hôtel d'excellente qualité, très bien situé pour visiter la ville (5 minutes à pied de Trafalgar Square, 2 minutes de Covent Garden), nombreux restaurants, théâtres dans les alentours, plusieurs bus et métro tout proche. Un peu cher peut-être (surtout que le petit-déjeuner n'est pas compris... A 12£ en plus par jour, mieux vaut aller le prendre ailleurs pour moins cher), mais le prix en vaut la peine (confort, services excellents).
