Fine dining, modern styling, and in the heart of theaterland

The Strand Palace Hotel London is ideally located within walking distance of many of London's major tourist attractions. Guests visiting the city on business can make use of the hotel's nine conference rooms. There are excellent transport links right outside the door, including tube stations and bus stops that further add to the hotel's convenient location. The hotel's interesting contrast of a very modern interior with a typically old-English exterior makes for a comfortable stay and the on-site bar and restaurant serves various European dishes and a traditional British carvery. Wi-Fi is free of charge and available throughout the entire hotel.

Stay on 6th floor (666) thought

Stay on 6th floor (666) thought i was in the devils kingdom. The Heat of the room was to much to cope with, Had to have a fan on ALL night to get some sleep. Beautiful hotel, Fantastic location for the Westend and excelllent price for central London. This hotel needs to get some Air Conditioning for these rooms.

Reception staff were very rude

Reception staff were very rude on arrival. Room was very small, no air con and had to have the fan going 24/7 to try and get some air movement in there. Bed was very comfortable.

Staff helpful. Beds very hard. My only issue is paying £2:00 per item for bag storage (we had 2 small holdalls and were charged £4:00). I would have paid an extra £5:00 per night and not noticed but paying for storage is penny pinching.

Ideal location for any activity

I no doubt recommend this hotel. Not only incredibly close to the city centre, also high quality in any aspect we mention; except for noise. Next time I am back to London I will try and accomodate at Strand Palace Hotel London.

This is my second stay at Strand

This is my second stay at Strand Palace Hotel. I choose this hotel simply because of its" close (very) close proximity to Covent Garden as well as other west end theatres. Small rooms , basic but clean. Breakfast was plentiful but expensive for Euros 20. Avoid the busier 9am to 10am times as standing in line can be frustrating! I would gladly stay again even if i did not receive my wake up call and almost missed my train to Bruges!!!!!

A Wonderful Hotel

I like this hotel and have stayed there three times now as it has an excellent location, the breakfast brunch is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
