Dining
- Caxton Grill
- Caxton Grill is the latest neighbourhood restaurant in St. James's, offering timeless, yet sophisticated modern European food in warm and inviting surroundings. The Caxton Grill is one of the few London restaurants to install a Josper Grill, a technique that imparts a distinctive charcoal flavour to all the local and handpicked ingredients placed upon its coals. The Caxton Grill is designed for the modern guest. The Caxton Quick is the perfect choice for a time-sensitive business lunch, though a more leisurely lunch is on offer of course. In the evenings, a visit to the restaurant, is an elegant affair - pre-dinner cocktails on the terrace, an indulgent dinner in the Grill, a digestif in the Bar and then a minute's stroll to the underground - all the ingredients for a night to remember.
- Caxton Bar
- The Caxton Bar is everything a central London bar should be. Warm dcor that creates a sense of calm and repose, making it the perfect place for locals to meet after work or visitors to take a well earned break whilst exploring the city. The Caxton Bar has an excellent choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including inspirational 'flights' of wines and whiskies - an opportunity to compare, contrast and and discover. For those feeling peckish, the Bar serves tempting snacks, including indulgent sharing platters.
- Caxton Terrace
- The Caxton Terrace, at St. Ermin's Hotel, offers guests and visitors something very rare indeed, a beautiful alfresco bar where they can enjoy a refreshing beer after work, or sip a cocktail before dinner in the Caxton Grill . The Terrace also serves a tantalising selection of bar snacks and sharing plates to complete this outdoor experience. This spacious terrace can be exclusively reserved for private events and functions, such as wedding receptions, birthday parties - in fact the sky's the limit.

Great London Vacation
St. Ermin's Hotel was fantastic! It is in an excellent location for sight seeing. The subway station is very close and the hotel is in walking distance to Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and other interesting sites. The room was a bit small but the furnishings were very nice and the bed was very comfortable! The concierge was very helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect Boutique Hotel
St. Ermins was a fantastic experience. The location was ideal for walking to many sites and to the tube. The hotel itself was very clean, and welcoming with a classy boutique decor. I fully appreciated having Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. The restaurant and bar sufficed for me for grabbing a bite or drink in between my site seeing or for a last drink of the evening, I would highly recommend this hotel for location and a positive overall experience. I will return here myself and would bring children next time as well.

Great hotel, great location!
This hotel is less than a block from the St James Park underground station, which is very centrally located and close to Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey, to name a few. The room was very nice, and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was a bit on the pricey side (more than we are used to paying, anyway), and the only "downside" was that breakfast was not included with our room. To be fair, I have found that the nicer hotels do not always offer a complimentary breakfast, and we did know in advance that it would be separate. There are several cafes and coffee shops very close that we used for our morning meals. We would certainly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay here again.

Easy access and great comfort
We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was ideal, close to many places of interest. The bedding items were very comfortable. The toiletries and in-room tea/coffee facilities were excellent. Space-wise, the room was a bit tight. There could be better complimentary items like the use of free wifi in the room, and newspaper. The glass shelf above the fridge needs daily dusting/wiping. Overall, it was a great experience and we would recommend to tourists and business traveller alike.

St. Ermins in London
We loved St. Ermins. The price was a little more than we wanted to pay, but our objective was a particular location, and St. Ermins filled that need perfectly. It is about a two-minute walk from a Tube station, and about 5 minutes from Buckingham Palace. The service was absolutely impeccable from beginning to end, in a setting so very lovely. The continental breakfast included in our rate was sumptuous and presently beautifully; the last morning we ordered it via room service due to our need to leave so early. We were surprised to note that in the lobby, they had set out a very pretty breakfast to take away. Such a nice touch! The room was a bit cramped but much larger than many European experiences. Sparkling clean and luxury linens. The view, however, was of brick walls and windows--not unlike many New York City hotels. If it fits your budget, do it! What a pleasure!

Excellent location
This hotel was not only beautiful, the staff was exceptional. The location is centrally located a short walk from Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square. The food was average but how often to you eat in the hotel restaurant? You must stay here! There are many delicious pub restaurants very close by.

Great location in Central London
The St. Ermine's hotel is an old style hotel with modern amenities. The location is convenient (5 minutes from St. James park tube stop), and walking distance from many major attractions. Breakfast is expensive if you do not have it included in your rate. I asked for a quiet room, and was initially assigned a room above the service alley, which had people loading dirty towels onto trucks for cleaning, which was noisy, and the hotel staff accomodated my request to move to a quieter room. A good value.
