Good loc, good service

We stayed there for 3 nights. We have initially book for a double bed which was quite small for 2 paxs. After one night we felt that the bed was too small and requested for a change. The hotel manager was very nice and offered a complimentary change of room for us. It has all the basic amenities and is less than 5mins away from the tube station - Bayswater. Famous Chinese restn nearby - Mandarin Kitchen & Four Season restn.. Room quite small, limited walking space. Need to book club room if more than 2 pax.

They changed my hotel

Just like other reviews has said. They changed you hotel when you arriving, giving reason like it's under renovation, maintenance. I was switch to a different hotel across the street and was told it was also an upgrade. Which I don't feel so. The room is small, the toilet is so small that you can even towel yourself dry after the shower. The room price is also cheaper than the one I booked. Althought overall was still acceptable but management is not honest. Having the same issue that has been complained by other who have stayed here.

Nice hotel, good location

The hotel is very clean, our room was a little small, but perfectly fine if you plan to spend most of your time exploring the city. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Bayswater underground station, Queensway station is just 5 mins away, from there its only a 15 minute ride to St. Pauls. There is a Boris bikes station also just 5 mins walk away in Hyde Park.

Check out Portabello Market in Notting Hill. Its a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively hire a boris bike and be there in less than 10 mins.

Wonderful

This was a charming hotel. Lots of people reference the size of the room, but it's actually perfect. It is fitting with the area in London. Being that close to Hyde Park is awesome and what a wonderful park to walk around in. There are also bikes for hire just inside the park. The Tube is right around the corner as well, which makes it very easy to get around. The staff here were wonderful and extremely helpful. If you want a hotel that has good service and a comfortable stay, look no further.

Sightseeing tip: Long walk from hotel

During the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace. There is another wonderful event happening around the corner at the military barracks. The band and four regiments march to the barracks to be dismissed after duty.

Great Location in Westminster

Great location for food and shopping as well as just a quick walk to Kensingtons Garden and Hyde Park. The street was quiet and it felt like we were living in London as opposed to living in a Hotel. We Uber extensively and the Big Bus tour stop was only two blocks away. The room, bed, closet, etc. was very small but nice. Our room looked like it was half the size of the photo used on the website. Since we spent most of our time out and about away from the room, the price and setup worked out great. We would stay here again.

We were able to hit a different place each morning for breakfast all within a one block walk. We loved The Black Lion, 123 Bayswater Rd (corner of Queensway and Bayswater). Queensway if loaded with every food you can think of from a muffin at Starbucks to Chinese and Thai.

Great location

A lovely hotel in a perfect location. Only complaint is the Deluxe Double room is the smallest hotel room I have ever been in and it was a struggle to fit one person in. However on raising this with staff I was advised I would be upgraded to a larger room free if charge the next morning when the room became available. I was moved to the Club Room which was more what I expected the double to be like. The staff couldn't have been more apologetic or helpful and the size of the room hasn't put me off this hotel as everything else about it was good.

Highly recommend

This was a very nice hotel, with a great staff and nice comfortable room. The bed was excellent. Will definitely stay here again in the future. One tip--the shower has a hand wand and a rain-shower head on the ceiling. If you turn the knob to the left, you will get a nice cold surprise since you are reaching under that ceiling shower head to get to the knob. I suggest always turning to the right so the wand comes on and the water heats up, then turn the other way so the ceiling head has warm water quickly.

Queensway has more restaurants and shops than you will know what to do with. Excellent choices within a 5 minute walk. There is also Whitely's Mall very near the hotel.

Fantastic stay, almost perfect

We stayed for just one night, unfortunatly due to the tube strike it did ruin the location but there is a great bus links to - Marylebone, Oxford St and most of London with 5 minutes walk if you don't mind the bus. The staff were very friendly, polite, helpful and could not have done more for us when asked. The price of the drinks though and breakfast make it much chaper to go somewhere else, which is a shame. The room itself was one of the "club" rooms, the room itself was lovely, everything inside the room was clean and tidy. The cups could be bigger, should be. The balcony you don't have access too but needed to be cleaned as there was mold and dark patches on it. The TV worked but some channels (ITV) for instance didn't have sound and some had sound but no image. It is by far the nicest place in London I have stayed for a while, if the price for beakfast was reduced by maybe 10-15% along with drinks, the balcony cleaned and the hallways updated a little bit it would be perfect. Regardless though I would stay again.
