Small Boutique Hotel in Lively West End
Tucked in on a side street in the lively West End of London, this small hotel was nicely located close to theatres and many restaurants. It was clean and the staff was helpful and professional. Terry robes and slippers were a nice touch in the room along with a safe. There is a restaurant on the premises which I did not try because of the huge variety of choices surrounding the hotel. Also it is close to the Googe St. Subway stop for easy access to transportation.

It is a very nice hotel in Fitzrovia near Goodge street tube station, at a short walking distance from Soho. Breakfast is not included, continental GBP14, English GBP 19, good quality. Service is very pleasant. Would stay there again and recommend.

Greate Location
Hotel has a great location being on a side street and there were numerous restuarants in the area. Staff was very freindly, even gave a coupan on arrival which could be used if dining in the area. Since it is described to be 4 star I was expecting a bigger room otherise the room was tidy. A good hotel to stay if you are alone and dont need to spend too much time in the room :)

hotel
During our stay at the Rathbone Hotel, we enjoyed the friendly service, cleanliness, and location. The location of the hotel was walking distance to the popular actions such as the British Museum and Oxford Street. The price of the hotel was reasonable considering it was a four star hotel. The front desk helped out with directions, tube information, and tour group information.

Great value and great location
This hotel is situated 5 minutes from Tottenham Court Road and 3 minutes from Goodge Street subway stations. There are around 10 restaurants (Italian, Indian, Spanish, French, etc.) and several pubs just around the corner. The rooms have a comfortable size of about 12-14 square meters. The beds are England style, but very comfortable. The room cleaning was impeccable. There is a hotel bar with reasonable pricing. There is the possibility to eat breakfast in the hotel, but we didn't do that.

Not the boutique experience I hoed for
I was blown away by the small size of the room and the price for that small room. I'm a New Yorker--I live in small spaces. When a hotel room in smaller than a Manhattan studio, it's too small. When I put my (small) suitcase down in the room there wasn't any other space. They had to put my room service tray on the bed. The internet was overpriced and not included. Breakfast was not included. The food was very good as was the location. It's kept up well. I found myself wishing for that other hotel that I almost booked. Especially when the desk staff was mumbling and then snotty about it at check out. I wouldn't recommend it but it was fine. What you'll be paying for is location and cleanliness.

Pleasant place to stay
Hotel was lovely, clean and quiet. Not sure this would be a good spot if traveling with children. We were able to access the tube easily for travel and walk to nearby restaurants. Room service was available but only breakfast served in the hotel.

Long walk from hotel
London is very crowded. Whether traveling by car, tube or walking, took much longer than we expected. Allow plenty of time to get anywhere.
