Mini break

Would not recommend Fri, May 16, 2014
Location but too expensive for the smallest room in london!bathroom really tiny and could have been better planned. Unable to use mini fridge as if you dislodged anything you were charged. Reception did cancel the charges though as we hadn't used anything. We were trying to put a bottle of water in. Wifi was very annoying as it kept falling out of coverage and in the end we just gave up. We won't be back even though the location was great

Terrific moden amenities. Rooms a bit small, but well appointed, modern and clean. Great service. Location can't be beat. Across the street from tube, and in the middle of the shopping district!

great location, average on everything else

Would recommend Mon, Sep 26, 2011
I've only stayed in London Oxford street (you can compare it to Times Square in NYC). I was there mostly to shop so the area was very convinient as it's close to all the chain stores, Selfridges, Liberty and it's a great tourist location. The hotel definitely serves its purpose but don't expect any more than just an average hotel. The bed, however, definitely needs an upgrade. It was pretty sunken in and my back hurt the next couple of days. The rooms are small (to be expected in London) and it's fairly clean. I would come back here only because of the location.

Shopping hint

All the shopping is just a short walk away. You can go from low end to high end in matters of blocks. If you want fast fashion, everything is at your fingertips. If you want high brand names, Soho and nice dept stores are also just a short walking distance away. You will save a lot on cab rides just by being here!

Super location for shopping in London, quickly onto Oxford street, but when finished...nice quiet environment to relax. Staff were excellent, and customer service was one of the best I've had recently.

Great Location, a few technical issues

Would recommend Mon, Oct 19, 2009
Great location, very convenient to the tube. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only one of the two small lifts was working and I found myself using the stairs more than I would have liked. Also, one night thre was some building work going on at 11pm which was very irritating.

Superb service and location

Would recommend Tue, Jul 28, 2009
I was very impressed by the friendly and caring service that my granddaughter and I received from the staff of the Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel. We are both rather tall, and I assumed that when I booked a "double" room that we would have accommodations with twin beds. After one rather rough night together in a double bed, we asked if it might be possible to switch us to another room. The staff was extremely accommodating and pleasant, dealt with our request readily, and helped us move swiftly without any delay. I would heartily recommend this hotel to travelers to London. Not only is the hotel clean, friendly, and efficient, but it is extremely well located, just a block from the Underground station, which we used daily in our explorations of London. We also admired the modern decor of the rooms. My heartfelt thanks to the Radisson Edwardian Berkshire staff, and thanks especially to the nice young man who greeted us and checked us in initially.

Dining

We found a very good Indian restaurant, Anjadia, at 15 Picton Place. The food was very good, and the staff was very friendly.
