A good value
Our first night, there was a horrible sewage smell coming from the bathroom, but it was gone the next morning. The amenities were nice. There was a restaurant downstairs that served breakfast. They sometimes serve dinner, but this feature won't be open for a few more weeks. The location is good in that it is across from the Tesco and near the tube and restaurants, but bad in that the building next door is abandoned with broken windows and graffiti. The rooms were very clean and had nice green energy features. It was also a beautiful and cozy hotel and room. The staff was excellent. Overall, it was a very good stay.

London Times!
Once we arrived at 11am we were not allowed to check in untill 12pm. The women at the front desk were friendly and sujested we should go to grab a bite to eat while we waited. That would have been a wonderful idea if we weren't so tired and wanted to shower and relax first. My husband had a 10 hour flight and a hour drive on the tube. Once we finally was able to go into the room "it was very nice" but the wet bar was not working. We informed the front desk attendent she explained that the maintanace man was to be in the following morning and that he would have the problem fixed. That never happened we were with out the wet bar for the entire time we were there. We stayed there a complete week and it would been nice to have that as a acomindation, we also had request for some wash cloths the last three days of our stay, we never received them either. Our overall stay was made tollerible due to the travels throughout London, The beautiful Thames, we dined at the Beatox cruise, we also whent to several museums, Piccadilly and Oxford circus for shopping, Soho, and walked the city streets along with spending time in Paris.

Given prices in London I thought
Given prices in London I thought this was good value. It was very clean, air-conditioning was good although the external noise from the units was a little noisy at night. Did not disturb too much though. Compared to other reviews I've read of London hotels this is a gem. Underground is only about 400 metres away and lots of shops nearby. Recommended.

Rooms are very tiny, almost to
Rooms are very tiny, almost to the point of being claustrophoboic. Booked a troom with a queen sized bed and got a double which was hard and lumpy and extremely uncomfortable and definitley not the orthopedic they advertise. Safe didn't work and no one bothered to fix it after several requests. TV poor.

Always efficient and friendly
Always efficient and friendly reception having stayed here before. Room typical size for London but with very good facilities and en-suite. We booked a deluxe room which was on the front of the hotel next to the main road. Excellent sound proofing means you get a good night's sleep. The room decor is modern and has good quality fittings. A problem with the hotel lift was fixed fairly quickly. The in-house restaurant provides a good-value breakfast. The hotel location is not close to central London but was ideal for us as we were visiting our daughter who lived two stops away on the Bakerloo Line.

The room was small and the double
The room was small and the double bed was more like a king single however the decor was nice and the room was clean. The bathroom was nice and clean. The air conditioner didn't seem to work though, it was very stuffy and quite hot. When we arrived early there was nowhere secure to put our suit cases, they were left in the foyer. The staff were helpful and the hotel was located near a tube station and bus stops so location was great. The room didn't cost much so it really was a case of you get what you pay for.

This hotel was just fantastic
This hotel was just fantastic for the price payed. A couple of bus routes stop right in front of the hotel door - some of them to Oxford, Kensington and Victoria. The Kilburn underground station is also near the hotel (2 mins away, walking). Both tube and buses give easy access to places like Oxford Str., Madame Tussauds, London Zoo & Regent's Park, Picadilly, Little Venice, Hyde park, Kensington etc. The railway and the overground are also reachable by foot. There are many pubs and fast food restaurants in the area and right across the street there's the Westbury pub, which become a club at night. There are many stores and shops like Tesco & Mark & Spenser (food chains), Boots (pharmacy) and Primark (clothes). There are a lot of oriental-themed cafes, because of the many ethnic groups living in the neighborhood. The hotel itself is really luxurious (of course considering the price). The one thing that I disliked was that room windows couldn't be opened, air comes from the conditioners

Unfriendly staff, didn't even
Unfriendly staff, didn't even say hello when passing the reception. By far the 'coldest' atmosphere we've experienced in a London hotel - and we've been in many. Room was nice though, the bathroom was great. With the low price we can live with the cold treatment.
