Area description
The Pembridge Palace Hotel is close walking distance to the famous Whitley's shopping centre located near Bayswater tube station and Queensway tube station. From Queensway tube station, Hyde park is only a stone's throw away and offers the splendour of London and it's central parks. Walk; take the tube or a short bus trip to the shopping centres of Oxford Street and Regent Street. Walk amongst the famous shops of Bond Street where the likes of Burberrys, Armani, and Louis Vitton etc are found. Why not go to the local London museums and theatres, clubs and pubs, outdoor markets. There's plenty to see and plenty to do in the non stop city as well as unwind away from the hustle and bustle in the garden.

Location , location

The location of this hotel is perfect. Breakfast was pretty good too along with housekeeping . However the lady at the front desk during the day needs some lessons to remind her that she is in the hospitality industry dealing with adults and an old fashioned headmistress at a school. A smile , a please , thank you go a long way. Efficient but lacks basic skills of hospitality. The management really needs to give lessons to its front desk staff on how to greet and converse with patrons. If your dealing with the front desk are minimal good place to stay.

Hotel

the rooms were very cramped but clean. The breakfast was adequate and the staff were superb. The eqquipment ie lights, door hangers and phones needed checking because frequently hooks fellmoff doors, lights very touchy and did not always work and phones needed to be checked as could not receive calls. A very average hotel in fairly good area just needs a little upgrade here and there. No bed bugs which is a plus and very pleasant helpful staff. Needs more front desk help with sign ins as they seemed to get backed up. I would stay here again.

Excellent location, great price

We spent five nights here and really found it to be a perfect location to get most places in London quickly. We had never been to London so were worried about that, and found Bayswater to be a great choice. The hotel itself was clean and efficiently run (slow elevators!). It was an excellent deal for the price (which puts it in the "not fancy" category). My only complaint was that the breakfast room was small and could be extraordinarily crowded. Going early is a good plan.

3 Night Stay

The hotel was located in outskirts of city so traveling to and fro proved a hassle. It was comfortable enough for a 3 night stay at 70 pounds/night for 2 pax. Breakfast provided was decent, however, the breakfast room was often packed and crowded out. Unfortunate thing about my stay was that the hotel's washing machine was located right outside my room which was located at the basement. This proved a little nusiance when you wanted to sleep in in the morning. Other than that, it was decent enough a hotel for that price.

Cheap if you dont want to stay in a hostel

the room that i got was not that good. only space for the bed. Not that I cared since i was touring most of the time. 5 min away from the metro station which is great. Breakfast is mostly cereal and juice, but hey its something. i would stay there again

3 star

Probably one of the few places in London that does not have free wifi. They advertise they have high speed Internet on the website however they never mention that we have to pay for it until we get to the hotel. Breakfast was really great. TV doesn't work and the most weirdest shower mechanism. Took to 10 mind to stop the shower.

Good for a short stay

While the staff was friendly and very assisting, the room itself was rather small, practically the same of the bed itself (i had 2 beds in the room) which only left me the space to move between them. The more "annoying" problem was that i could hear all the noise from the rooms next to me and from the corridor. For a short stay, it's good mostly due to the location of the hotel which is very central.

Dining tip: In Hotel

Make sure you "register" at what time you plan to eat, as i've encountered a crowed and there was no place to seat. The Breakfast was rather limited (to me) so i'd very much suggest eating outside for a more satisfying meal
