good overal performance for the price

simple overnight stay on the return trip from a conference. for the price, it would have been excellent if it had been possible to access the internet in the rooms.

Great and cheap place to stay

The room itself was fairly small and located in the basement. This, however, was not a problem owing to the fact you're currently in London! Who wants to stay in their rooms anyway! Regardless of the room's size, the hotel provided a very central location that proved very easy to navigate. To the left of the hotel, one will find several shops and eateries to grab a quick bite on the go or to do a little shopping. For me, the most convenient shop was T-Mobile where I picked up a SIM card and had internet for less than 8 pound. The tub entrance was rather difficult to find which caused me to have to use cabs. The cabs, as one well knows, are extremely expensive so use at your own risk. The hotel provides very ideal location for touring all of the art and architecture in Westminster. Buckingham palace was easily within walking distance and so was Hyde's park. Overall, the hotel's accommodations were ideal for a traveler without children. Another interesting detail that may or may not prove helpful, several local Indian places deliver despite what the hotel desk says.

Great value for a reasonable price!

This hotel was literally a minute walk away from the Colombes Metro station, which made it very convenient to get into Paris every day. At first glance, it might seem like nothing is too spectacular near the hotel, but there was a supermarket, several places to eat, a bank, and an internet bar all within a 5 minute walk. The staff didn't speak much English, but they were still very nice and helpful - even with my attempts at broken French sentences. The hotel room was very small, but it was enough to just rest for the night and head back into Paris each day. Very clean rooms, and a great internet connection was a plus!

The bakery on the same side of the road as the hotel heading towards the metro station (sorry, I can't remember the name) had amazing pastries at very reasonable prices. A must for anyone looking for authentic and delicious breakfast snacks!

Heavy sleeper

I had a single room, with the bed on one floor, toilet on the next floor and the shower on a second floor. But that was ok! The room served its purpose and each night ihad a quiet comfortable sleep.

Walking between Paddington station and the hotel there is a really good inexpensive lebanese restaurant. Ihad one the best salads and a rice with ground lamb dish I have eaten in London.

Just Passing Through

I was just staying here for a night on my way to Greece with a friend. It was a nice and cheap place to stay but I would have liked a more secure room to store my luggage in until my flight (which was later in the afternoon). I was very nervous just leaving my items in the lobby.

Acceptable for a short stay

I wasn't expecting the best at this price and for one night's stay such as ours this hotel was ideal. We were going to a concert at the Royal Albert Hall that evening and the hotel's location was fine for us - 20 minutes walk away. The room was very clean but small and not much storage space. A nice bath but didn't try the shower. The beds were comfortable but the pillows weren't. Breakfast wasn't a good experience. There were a lot of students staying and perhaps they all decided to eat at the same time but there was a shortage of crockery and cutlery so we ended up eating cold toast as we had to wait for clean knives to spread the butter and only water to drink because they'd run out of cups for tea and coffee.
