Park Plaza is top notch!
A great hotel for the value. It's modern and unique. The standard rooms are two-room suites with a living room and a sofabed, rare for London hotels. The AC works spendidly as well. They even have ice machines on each floor, rare by UK standards as well. Overall, it's way nicer than the Park Plaza - Victoria...no comparison.

Long walk from hotel
The only drawback with the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge is that it's not as close to the Tube as I would like. It's about a 7 minute walk to the Waterloo Station. The nearest bus stop isn't far, though.

Good location and wise architecture
Stayed for 6 nights. Room is big and has everithing which you may need. I was impressed how architector managed to get right balance between view from room windows and number of rooms in hotel. SPA and fitness facilities of average quality and closes at 22:00. Location is between 2 tube statins. Each station has several lines so you will not be locked even if couple of tube lines are closed.

There is a Starbaks near (200 meters from Hotel - direction to "London eye"). Good breakfast there costs less than 10 GBP per person instead of 21 GBP at hotel.

fabulous quality - great location

This hotel is in the best location
This hotel is in the best location for London. It is litterally right at the end of Westminster Bridge. Very spacious room, with all moderm ammenities. Worth the extra money!

Best views for a hotel in London ?
I stayed here for one night with my wife and absolutely loved this hotel with its modern design, and great facilities. We had a studio room on the fourth floor with amazing views out across Westminster Bridge onto Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. The room was very tastefully decorated, with a separate sitting room, and basic cooking facilities (cutlery, microwave, tea cofee making facilities etc). Great choice at breakfast - and a very good selection of bars and cafes within the hotel. The gym was also a very good standard with a wide range of equipment - with a very good (if small at 15 metre) pool. Definitely one of my favourite hotels in London already !

Great location
We went site seeing and the hotel is in the perfect location. The hotel is very nice and modern. The only thing that you might want to do if you want to have light in your room is to book a room not in the atrium. It is a little dark.

Fine hotel
Very fine new hotel. Our room was spacious, with a small living-room type area separate from the sleeping area,each with its own flat-screen TV. This meant one person could watch TY or read without disturbing the other in bed. The small (very!) kitchen area meant we could store OJ and milk in the fridge and have breakfast in the room, which really saved a lot of money because the in-house breakfast is expensive. Staff were very helpful and the location was ideal for our purposes, a short walk from Kings College London and Waterloo Station, just across the bridge from the Houses of Parliament. Very complicated switching system for lighting.

A couple of really good restaurants in the area are Baltic Restaurant (74 Blackfriar's Road) and the gastropub Anchor & Hope (36 The Cut). Friends reported a great meal at Live Bait (43 The Cut).

Fancy high-end hotel
The Park Plaza Westminster is in a fantastic location, just a couple of blocks from the Waterloo tube station. The hotel is very elegant with modern amenities. I had a "superior room" which had a sitting room in addition to the bedroom. The bathroom was spacious with a stand up shower in addition to a tub. There is also a spa and fitness center, which I did not have time to use. It is pricey, but I think it was money well spent.
