Location is GREAT! Can get the district, Picadilly, and circle lines all from the Gloucester road station which is about 2 blocks away. Breakfast is included which was a real money saver and a good way to start the day. And the assortment of breakfast foods was pretty good. Cons: shower was difficult to figure out. One night my towels were replaced and were dirty. The amenities are worthless so bring your own shampoo and bar of soap. And the bed was so small. They gave us a full sized mattress for two people which I think is unreasonable. But all in all I would probably stay there again if I couldn't find another hotel that's better. The location really made this a winner. It's in the quiet neighborhood of Kensington and aft being busy in tourist spots all day it was nice to come back to this quiet location.

Very nice, recently remodeled hotel close to the Gloucester Road subway stop in Kensington. Close to the museums. Rooms are smallish but nicely appointed and comfortable. Staff is very helpful. Complimentary full English breakfast was a great way to start the day. Would stay again.

Perfect City Break
The hotel was nicely decorated, really smart and staff were really friendly and helpful! It was really clean and newly refurbished. The only downside, if there was one, was the room was a bit small but cute at the same time. The breakfast was really good as well as the location!

Double not Single
Recently stayed at the Park International on Cromwell. Rooms and lobby freshly remodeled. First three nights stayed in a double bed. Bed was firm, good room for a London Hotel. The next two nights in a single. Bed was a huge disappointment. Mattress was over worn out and flat. Definitely in a great area, close to tube, stores and great restaurants. Recommend a stay, just get a double size bed

Disappointing over all
The hotel is extremely convenient, just a short walk to the Gloucester Road station. Easy access to Heathrow via the Picadilly line. Be sure to get an Oyster card. You may have to switch trains at Hatton Cross or Hounslow West to get to the right terminal. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is quite disappointing. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, I could not print my airline boarding passes from the computers in the lobby. There is extensive construction underway (dec 2010) that disrupted the lobby area. I did not try the restaurant.

Good service and staff.
The hotel was only one block from the tube - great location. The staff was very helpful. The first night my non-smoking sigle was not available. They upgraded me to a double. The complementary daily breakfast was ample, tasty and fast. From the servers to the concierge, the employees provided quality service including directions, suggestions, and phone messaging. While the single rooms are quite small, I only really used it to sleep. The mattress was adequateand the TV needed an upgrade; however, the small fridge allowed me to store some money saving snacks. Within a block were two grocery stroes, a magazine/newspaper store, and several restaurants. This was a convenient headquarters for a 4 day tour of London.

Very personal service
The Park International Hotel was very comfortable, conveniently located and the staff was very personal and friendly, although the single room was quite small (typical of London).

Great location and staff
Park OInternational location near Cromwell and/Glouchester road intersection abounds in restaurant, supermarket and dining options plus many more costly hotels. There is a service wash luandromat across the street as well as a couopkle of internet cafes, and bankcard machines acorss form th4e Subway entrance - Sainsbury's is tow blocks west, Waitrose at the Subway. A single room at Park International is small - one can't use the bathroom without keeping the door open-- but friendly staff and the 1 pound per bag storage fee option, and included buffet breakfast are great. If taking the subway in from Heathrow, one is just outside the more crowded downtown stops. Just drop off bags and pick up discount theater ticket at the Offiical Theatre ticket booth a copuple stops away on Piccadily line, go to British museum at Holbourn stop further on. And its a snap the next day to get space on a Heathrow bound subway. Firstw stay at the Park since I left on the morning of 7/7/2005 - staff then gave me helpful hint to carry bags across Hyde Park and head to Paddington station, where train to Heathrow was still running despite bombings that shut down other transport. Staff are still friendly and helpful.

Short walk from hotel
Walk east down Cromwell Road to museums, (also check whether Albert Hall has any concerts) or head north up Glouchester road to Hyde Park and on to the circular Diana Memorial water feature/fountain by the Serpentine - keep walking east to the playground on right and cut through alley toward Harrods - Knightsbridge stop on the Piccadily line.

Reasonably decent place
I had a single room that was very narrow, but had everything I needed. I saw double rooms being cleaned that looked considerably more spacious, though I think they cost proportionately more.

The nearby Gloucester station, with the attached large Waitrose supermarket, is a good place to buy ready-cooked food that helps cut down on restaurant bills.
