Staying over after a function

Would recommend Mon, Jan 11, 2016
The hotel was a perfect place to crash after our work Christmas 'do'. We were surprised how cheap the room was. Cheaper in fact than the nearest Travelodge or Premier Inn. The staff were incredibly helpful. We would definitely go back if the room were available at the same rate again. Thanks.

Stayed one night, good location in South Kensington/Gloucester Road. Hotel needs refurb but has good sized rooms and excellent staff. Its got good buzz about it and is worth a punt. Cheaper than similar hotels like 'The Kensington' but not as modern

Pros: location of hotel & cost of the room Cons: none really. Only comment is the décor is slightly dated but you don't travel to London to stay in the hotel room for the duration of your stay.

Family trip

Would not recommend Wed, Nov 4, 2015
The location was excellent and the cleanliness was of a good standard. I was disappointed that on check in an extra £40 was charged for an extra bed in the room even though the third person had already been paid for. Also on checking my statement £80 had been debited instead of £40. Also on check out I discovered I had left some property in the room . On querying this I was told it had not been found even though no one else had checked into the room after I checked out. I can only assume there is a dishonest person working within the company. It will be unlikely that I will stay here again.

long weekend break

Would recommend Wed, Oct 14, 2015
I always stay at this hotel when i am in London. the rooms are spacious and luxurious. The food is always excellent. the hotel is in a quiet part of London beside a tube station. The member of staff at check in was quite abrupt and not very helpful but the rest of the staff we meet at other times were lovely. it is a shame they do not provide complementary wifi, but everything about my stay was great

Family trip

For what we paid for the weekend (Friday - Monday stay) I wasn't impressed with the hotel rooms at all, plus our rate wasn't inclusive of breakfast, this had to be added on when there. The room we had was very plain, nothing fancy at all for a Millenium group hotel. The decor was awful, looked like there had been a previous leak in the room at some point as the wall was all brown and water marks on the floor. The bed was of average comfort and we had travelled 2 adults and our son but there was no spare bed / or sofa bed for my son he had to share with us which wasn't the best. The bathroom was of standard quality, was clean just very basic. Shower and bath facilities were ok and plenty hot water available. Breakfast the mornings we went was fine, enough choice on offer and plenty staff around to get you tea, coffee etc. hotel location is the only thing I could rave about. Perfect for buses, trains and underground with all this on the doorstep of the hotel. Plenty to do roundabout and easy access to tesco express at the bottom of the road. Hotel Lobby is very misleading, makes the hotel look very plush and fancy and then you see the rooms....

Great location for London visit.

Thoroughly pleased with this hotel. Great location with easy access to underground. Well worth upgrading to 6th floor with price including breakfast, wifi, breakfast room on same floor and £60 voucher to use for food or drink. Would definitely return .

Not great for families

Would recommend Wed, May 6, 2015
Rooms were good - not huge but that's London hotels - the most annoying thing was being robbed at the bar After walking around all day it's nice to come back and have a relaxing drink but then being asked to pay £9 for a glass of wine was absolutely rediculous - it's a thinly veiled attempt to make you buy a full bottle - not good
