Dining

Restaurant
Guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast at the spacious restaurant, before venturing out to explore the nearby fashionable shopping areas of Knightsbridge and Chelsea. You can also choose to take breakfast in the adjoining tropical garden, a little haven in an urban setting. Harry's bar in New York is the inspiration for the juice bar, which greets guests on arrival at the hotel reception.

bad Hotel in beautiful London

Booked an apartment from the hotel app. 5 min. from hotel. We did not end up in quiet Kensington street with nice family feel hotel. But our room was next to main app. entrance (and Tube station) and without ventilation. Street noise was huge and unbearable. We found other hotel. Staff made no real effort to come with alternatives and said they would just charge money from my credit card without chargeback ?!?

Good value, but could be better.

The location of the Mayflower Hotel is great; it's literally around the corner from the Earl's Court tube stop. There are a couple of really good pubs very nearby too. The Blackbird is worth spending time in. My room (#47) was clean, but very, very small. The en suite bathroom is very nice, despite the slightly noisy water pipes. The window in #47 overlooks the Earl's Court station, so there is plenty of train and station noise. The lift is really tiny, so be aware of that. The staff are really friendly and you are able to leave your bag if you arrive early as well as if you're leaving London after check-out time. As long as you're not looking for loads of space or creature comforts, and you don't mind a little city noise, the Mayflower is a good choice.

The Blackbird pub is worth a stop. Fullers ales and pies!
