Easy to get around town; built for the business traveler
Nice location to get around the city with easy underground access as well as restaurnts, pubs, and grocery stores. Storage space is very limited in the rooms (no drawers) so I am guessing this hotel is geared to short stays. Room was cleaned well dily and the front staff very easy to engage. Would go back despite being pricey due to poor exchange rate with Sterling Pound.

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
Do not exchange money unless you have to. ATM withdrawals are much more cost effective particularly with the no fee machines. Then there will only be small fees with your home bank.

This is a clean, functional and
This is a clean, functional and quite attractive hotel. I can recommend this Jury's Inn to anyone who is making an overnight stay in the capital. I would issue a couple of warnings. First, the location is exceptionally noisy. Also, the rooms themselves suffer in comparison with the public areas. They are fine, really, but the decor is tired, particularly when contrasted with the chi-chi lobby. Overall, this hotel is well priced. The breakfast is a real bonus - good quality hot and cold buffet food.

comfortable room, convenient location
Jury's Inn Islington is conveniently located just one block from the Angel tube stop, which makes it easy to get almost anywhere in London. The Piccadilly line (which runs to Heathrow airport) is only one stop away from Angel. Our room was a corner room on the 4th floor, with 3 windows affording an excellent view of the neighborhood and several London landmarks in the distance. It had a full bath, very clean and nicely decorated, very brightly lit and with better water pressure from the shower than most hotels have. The room had a comfortable double bed with small night tables mounted to the wall on either side, and individual lighting for each side of the bed. The room had it's own thermostat and was easy to regulate for a comfortable temperature. A desk/table was opposite the foot of the bed and had the TV at one end. There was an open closet with several shelves and a hanging rack but no dressers/drawers. This was adequate space for what my wife and I needed for our stay there. Continental breakfast included tea/coffee, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, rolls/croissants with butter/jam, and yogurt. Full breakfast is also offered. there is also a pub/restaurant just off the hotel lobby but we didn't eat here during our stay. There are numerous pubs and several restaurants along Upper St north of the Angel tube station.

I booked this hotel as it is a Trafalgar Tour recommended Hotel and we were staying there on the completion of our tour. I really enjoyed my two night stay. The staff at reception delivered a high level of customer service and were friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel is close to Angel Station and restaurants/cafes. I felt safe walking at night in the surrounding area. I would definitely stay here again.

An ideal hotel if staying in London
An ideal hotel if staying in London with a lovely outlook from the front of the hotel. The breakfast had many choices and the hotel was nicely maintained and air conditioning was good. I liked the ice machine in the corridor. Would definately stay again. Very friendly and helpful staff at reception.
