Hyde Park Suites

This is a great location and is really close to two of the best parks in London--Kensington and Hyde. It is very close to the tube and is a good walk to Buckingham Palace. We were unable to access the rooms until 2 and were weary after the long flight, but they held our bags and let us in as soon as the rooms were available. The rooms were comfortable--small by American standards, but not too small. Shower not working in one room but we managed. There was some traffic and a rucus on the first night, but we felt safe. Good restaurants and amenities close by and a nice area of London. Staff were quick and efficient; no problems getting in and out. Check out was easy since we just left the keys. These would be ideal for someone spending a couple of weeks there as they had a nice kitchen and pots, pans etc.

when we arrived we were told that they had double booked and that there was a hotel room in the Radnor Hotel along the road,we were not impressed after paying the full amount on booking. The hotel room was on the top floor no lift. Unable to turn off the radiator which was red hot. The following morning we were then put into a different suite across the road from Hyde Park Suites which was very nice and clean. I was very disappointed after booking previous rooms with Hotel Club and having no problems.

This cozy studio apartment had everything! From the sleeping area one stepped down into the kitchen, which was fully stocked with dishes, fridge, washer, microwave, oven, etc. It was one short block over from two subway stations, dozens of great shops & restaurants, and of course, Hyde Park. The street was very quiet in the evenings. As each cluster of apts has its own entrance & separate address, I felt as if I had my own private getaway. In the 9 nights of my stay, my room was made up twice. Internet access was available for a small fee, but there was no phone in the room.

Hyde Park Suites was cheap and we got what we paid for. Great location by 2 tube stations was the best part. We were put in a basement room that was moldy and smelled and felt damp. My husband couldn't stand up in the shower because of the cavernous room. They were full and could not give us another room. There was actually mold growing on the walls. We didn't have time to search for another place with all our luggage so just dealt with it. The staff was unwilling to compensate for the stinky room.

Da wir zu dritt in einem zweier Zimmer waren hatte ich das vergnügen mit einem Bettsofa.. nich ein riesen Komfort aber reichte aus. :)

Die Lage war super und zentral. nur 10 Minuten bis zur Stadt mit der Metro. Das Zimmer war sehr kalt... zum glück hatten wir einen kleinen oldschool heizofen, mit dem wir ein wenig das Zimmer wärmen konnten. Die Sauberkeit liess zu wünschen übrig. Wir waren 6 Tage dort, und uns wurde erst nach 4 Tagen die Duschtücher gewechselt... das wars aber auch! wir dachten sie würden das Zimmer Sauber machen und die Bettlacken wechseln! aber nichts war gemacht als wir zurück kamen... nur neue Tücher standen bereit...obwohl das Zimmer dringend eine Putzaktion nötig gehabt hätte.

Nous avons été déçu par l'emplacement de notre chambre en sous- sol donc sans aucune vue avec des barreaux à la fenêtre et en face d'un mur. De plus les chambres étant dispersées dans une rue entière, nous nous sommes retrouvés à l'opposé de l'appart de notre fils qui était au 34 et nous au 81. Vous devriez signaler ces possibles inconvénients. Il n'y a aucune insonorisation. Nous avons donc vécu nos nuits au rythme des gens qui arrivaient ou qui partaient de nuit : 24h, 4h, 5h du matin... On se demande bien ce qu'ils font pendant plus d'une heure à traîner des chaises, des lits et je ne sais quoi. De plus bien que la chambre soit correcte cela n'avait rien à voir avec les photos sur votre site !

Tæt på indkøbsmuligheder og station. Let at gå tur i det grønne- Kensington Park og masser af fine spisesteder. Værelset var fint. Kan varmt anbefales

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons dans un des bâtiments des Hyde Park Suites. Toujours aussi satisfaits par la proximité de la station de métro Bayswater, des commerces et restaurants divers. Le personnel est toujours aussi disponible et à l'écoute (dépannage d'un radiateur de chauffage dans la demi-heure en soirée...) Excellent rapport qualité/prix. Des mini studios que je conseillerais quand on envisage un séjour d'une semaine à Londres.

Yövyimme kahden hengen huoneessa, jossa oli oma keittiö. Sijaintina paikka oli aivan täydellinen ! Hinta/Laatu suhde hyvä.. Ikkunassa tosin oli reikä, jonka huoltomies korjasi laittamalla tapetin reiän kohdalle..? Ja ikkunastamme oli näköala takapihalle jota sanottiin puutarhaksi, mutta näytti ennemminkin slummilta. Seinät todella ohuita, että kuuli toisiin huoneisiin ja suihkussa oli hometta. Työntekijät olivat todella mukavia ja auttoivat mielellään, kun vain meni kysymään. Jos olisimme viipyneet pitempään Lontoossa, emme olisi varmaan viihtyneet. Mutta olimme vain pari yötä ja nukuimme pelkästään huoneessamme, joten nämä asiat eivät niin haitanneet. Täydellinen paikka opiskelija budjetille.
