May Day in London

We chose the Holiday Inn Swiss Cottage for its very modern construction, great location and super price. Our large room was down the hall and away from the lift/elevator, facing away from Finchley Road so it was very quiet. The breakfast was outstanding! Warm croissants and brioches, large selection of cereals, toast and wonderful coffee. Very good orange juice, too!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Although the O2 Shopping Centre across the street has numerous dining choices, we found an excellent Persian restaurant (Mahdi) around the corner from Finchley Road tube and an equally good Chinese restaurant (Green Cottage) just a short walk down Finchley Road towards Swiss Cottage.

Nice hotel.

Convient to where we needed to be. Very clean. Friendly staff. Close to tube stop.
