Long walk from hotel
After "work hours" there isnt much going on in the way of dining, stores, etc.. in this particular area. Everything seems to 'shut down'. The hotel is in great proximity to our offices though.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room upgrade was a real bonus. Great room, perfect location and great value for money

Exclent location.Room had a view over Tover of London.Bathrooms are too small for 5star. They do not provide bathrobes and slipers, until asked. But they did not have slipers anyway :( Generally,accomodation is closer to 4star standard than 5star.

all staff exceptionally helpful, room very comfortable, location great close to underground, highly recommend this hotel, didn't use restaurants as already had meals booked with family friends, the one appeared to have a good selection at very reasonable prices especially for London and the star rating of the hotel. All major attractions can be accessed from this hotel either by the tour buses or underground, taxi's readily available and congirge can book car for private tours at extremely reasonable rates, they also supplied us with drinks and sandwich platter again exceptional value for money, If I get the chance to visit London again I would definately stay here again, they helped to make my long weekend very memorable.

Great Hotel with mediocre breakfast
Great location, right next to the Tower Hill tube station with London's Tower and sightseeing buses stops across the street. Very helpful service desk & concierge staff and room with an impressive view of the Tower. Rooms and bathrooms are large for European standard; clean and nicely equipped with very comfortable beds. The area around (City & financial district) is very quiet on weekends with limited choices for dinning. The breakfast buffet was not in line with 5 star hotel rating with very long wait for a coffee or milk & refills; continental buffet had a variety choices but pastry was mediocre at best with soggy croissants. This may be acceptable for a room rate included buffet but it is totally outrages considering that the hotel is charging 21 British pounds for it. You can have a better breakfast for ¼ of the cost in any of the close by coffee places. Overall it is a quality hotel in good location but you should skip the breakfast buffet.

Chambre (executive double room)
Chambre (executive double room) grande et confortable. Les carreaux de la salle de bain n'étaient pas très nets. Le petit déjeuner est une "truanderie" (prix exhorbitant) mais la qualité était bonne. Bon emplacement (à un jet de pierre de la tour de Londres et tower bridge) mais par rapport au centre de Londres, c'est un peu loin (il faut marcher entre deux stations situées sur les lignes 'circle' et 'central'). Bon prix le vendredi, trop cher le week-end. Attention, le frigo était partiellement entamé à notre arrivée et on a essayé de me le faire payer.
