Girls weekend

Hi I booked this apartment for one night on the weekend with my friends as we were having a touristy trip to london. The apartment is cosy- could be more sofas but it was fine as it was. The rooms are very close together and you can hear everything which isn't great but we didnt mind it too much. The apartments are clean, with all the amenities and great lighting throughout. There is also a 24 hour tesco right next to it which is fab and the tube stop is around a 5-10 minute walk. Earlscourt is a lovely area so its a nice walk. The only major downfall was the staff- we told them one of the bathroom doors wouldnt lock and they didnt do anything about it, they said they would send someone but never did. Also when we enquired about taxis as we were running late for our train- one of the staff laughed at us as we were running late and needed to get to euston in half an hour which I found very rude. I have stayed here twice and the first time the staff were fine, but after the second I would probably go somewhere else for an apartment in London.

Short visit to London

The hotel/apartment was quite modern and served us well. The location was great, about 10 minutes walks from Earl´s Court station (Piccadilly Line) and we could use underground to receive Heathrow airport, very practical. We also took once a taxi to Notting Hill gate and it cost around 10 pounds. We had two bedroom apartment and bought some groceries from Tesco next door and prepared breakfast our selves. Even though the apartment´s over all cleaness was good there were some nasty spots on the wall here and there, particularly in the kitchenette and in bathroom. I would advise to to wipe also the walls - this takes only few minutes.

A good deal

If you need a place to stay in Southwest London, this is a great one. Some of the rooms have air conditioning controlled from the front desk and could get stuffy, so I would check before staying in high summer. The rooms are huge by London standards and very reasonably priced (at least when I booked, prices seem to fluctuate). They clean the rooms once a week, which was not a problem for me. The staff called up a few hours after I had checked in to make sure I understood how everything in the room worked (the oven was a touch mystifying). I would stay here again -- being able to cook for myself saves so much money in London.

Good space for families

Clean and comfortable, if a bit worn round the edges. Fully equipped kitchen and separate lounge/bedroom areas, made this a really good layout for us with a young child. Hotel rooms we have stayed in often have an extra bed jammed in as an afterthought so there isn't much room for relaxing. This was not the case here as we booked an apartment with two beds and there was plenty of room for eating and relaxing as well. Our apartment had 2 shower rooms, but no bath which would have been useful. Handy supermarkets close by so makes staying in London a bit cheaper as we didn't have to eat out every night. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Haven't stayed here before so wasn't sure what to expect, but would book again as having an apartment to relax in after a days sightseeing turned out to be a real bonus.

Short stay...

I stayed at this hotel for a couple nights before heading up to Scotland. The room had a washing machine, refrigerator, awesome shower and some kitchen items. However, the bed was hard and uncomfortable. Short walk from the tube station.

Good price for London, overall good accommodation

Good accommodation for the price, location is good close to earls court and Kensigton high street. Stayed in an open plan 1 bedroom. As many other reviewers have noted the bathroom door is an opaqu sliding door which when closed there is a quarter inch gap between it and the wall. So you need to figure out if this is something that matters to you.

good for family

my first time staying in an apartment and as I was only there for 3 nights i didn't really use the kitchen very much. I would prefer next time to be more in the heart of london as the tube can get crowded. It was about an 8 - 10 min walk to tube which was good and there was a bus which was great for the scenic route although longer was worth taking.

Some good,some not so great

There was really no satisfactory explanation of how the rooms that are equipped with climate control are assigned versus those that do not have climate control. But the clerk did admit that some rooms have climate control and others do not. I asked if the rate is higher in those that have climate control, I asked if the rooms that have climate control were assigned by lottery, or if you had to bribe the front desk clerk with extra payment for climate control....what is the trick to it??? I could not get a straight answer from the desk clerk. There are thermostats in the rooms, giving the false appearance of climate control, but they are just decorations on the walls. So, we were told to open the windows, tiny 12 by 8 inch window in each room, so deal with the train noise( there are trains running right outside the back of the apartments every few minutes). Either you have ventilation, and can breathe, or you have peace and freedom from noise, but you can't have both. Otherwise, all was fine. Would recommend but not in summer.

Enjoyable stay.

Studio apartment was able to fill all our needs for a 4 nights stay in London. This place is near subway transportation that goes right to Best areas to eat, shop and see shows. 24 hour huge Tesco supermarket located a few hundred yards away. Written Instructions were incorrect to operate stovetop, figured it too late, but got it to work once without knowing how I did it. Everything else worked great. Internet WiFi worked great, no issues at all. Place was quiet at all times and staff very attentive to any questions, etc. They reserved a ride to airport on time for us. Would definitely come back here again.

Honeymoon

This was just okay. The lights kept coming on/going off randomly, which was annoying. Also found the staff to be a bit curt
