A Chelsea gem

We booked a suite for four nights in early March. We chose the Draycott because we wanted a small, boutique hotel in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of the V&A Museum. The Draycott exceeded our high expectations. The place just feels like home, right down to the doorbell that you must ring to enter the hotel's front door. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. It included a fully equipped kitchen and a combo washer-dryer. The small but very professional and caring staff meets every need. Little touches abound, including two large platters of perfectly crisp fresh apples in the entryway. We felt pampered at every turn, We will certainly stay here again on our next trip to London.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

For breakfast, brunch, or lunch, try Baker & Spice at 47 Denyer Street in Chelsea, less than half a mile from the Drayott.. For dinner, consider Rasoi, an extraordinarily fine Michelin-star winning Indian restaurant just 3 or 4 blocks from the Draycitt.
