Nice hotel in a good location

Would recommend Fri, Sep 18, 2015
Very nice hotel, a small hotel on the boundary between a hotel and a B&B. South Kensington location very convenient. Nice atmosphere. Staff very nice and attentive. Air conditioning could have worked better.

Perfect London Location!

Would recommend Thu, Sep 3, 2015
This boutique hotel is very charming and lovely. The staff were very nice and the lobby amenities (snacks, happy hour, and sitting areas) were very convenient. Our room was very small, but typical for London, and we had a wonderful 10 days here!

Perfect gateway to bustling city

Would recommend Sun, Mar 16, 2014
The Cranley sits on a quiet side street, a 3-minute walk from a multi-connection tube stop and a shorter walk from a wide array of good restaurants and shops. The staff members are congenial and do everything they can to assist you in your stay. The rooms are large by London standards and well-appointed. Fruit and juice always sit in the hotel's common area, and you have access to free champagne & canapés each evening from 7-8. It is a gateway to and retreat from the hustle/bustle of one of the world's great cities. What's not to like?

Attractions

Several major museums are within 10 minutes or so from the hotel -- the Victoria & Albert and the Natural History Museum, e.g. When we booked the hotel, on a friend's recommendation, we thought it might be a little far out of the city's heart. Its location for us turned out to be perfect, with great things a short walk away, longer walks into Hyde Park easy and lovely, and the tube to take you to other sights (e.g., Kew Gardens) easily.

Great location

Would recommend Sun, May 12, 2013
We were guests for six nights. The Cranley is a beautiful hotel in a quiet, residential area. It's convenient to restaurants, pubs, shopping and the Gloucester Street tube. It was easy to get to all the attractions we wanted to see. The staff was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable. They quickly and efficiently responded to our every request. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Dining

Pret a Manger is just around the corner from the hotel (with other locations all over London) and serves fresh, organic foods. Very affordable, and a great way to start the day.

Would recommend Sun, Aug 2, 2009
The stuff was very welcoming and helpful. We were checking in really late and Even though there went something wrong with our Reservation, we got a bigger Room and we were offered complimentary Breakfast to our Room. The Location is really great, close to shops, Bars, the tube and busses. We can only recommend this Hotel.
