Dining

Olio's Brasserie
Olio's Brasserie is our stylish conservatory restaurant overlooking Hyde Park. You can pick from our seasonal British menu or our authentic Malaysian cuisine, prepared by our resident Malaysian chef
Bel Canto
A welcome new arrival to Corus Hotel Hyde Park, Bel Canto is an eclectic mix of food and opera. The venue combines opera and fine dining with an elegant twist as all the waiting staff are talented young opera stars of the future. The venue offers young professionals the chance to interact with the public while performing arias from Verdi, Puccini, Mozart and many more. At regular intervals during the evening up to four of the performers will burst into song, moving between the tables while belting out opera classics.

Enjoyed my stay

Hotel staff was very courteous. Location 3 blocks away from the tube, a short walk from Queensway and across the street from beautiful Hyde Park. The single room I booked was clean but TINY as expected

Great Stay

The hotel provided great reception and a great location. The rooms were soloid basic hotel rooms with sufficient space and great housekeeping and front desk staff. Being close to the subway made for easy access throughout the city. The neighborhood was quiet and had a nice pub next door. For out of town trips, the hotel is a short walk from paddington station. Overall, a great stay.

Prime location

The hotel staff was friendly and the location was incredible. The Lancaster gate tube station and Paddington station are very close by and the rooms were comfortable! We especially loved the proximity to The Mitre Pub, one of the best pubs we frequented during our stay.

Royal Wedding Trip

Corus Hotel was wonderful. Near Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate Tube. Beautiful Hyde Park right across the street. The Swan Pub was next door. Our air conditioning stopped working one day and we were immediately upgraded to a beautiful suite. Will stay here everytime.

Money-saving tip: Not Applicable

stop at a grocer and grab an oj & banana & cereal bar for the next mornings breakfast. also a large bottle of water to refill. they can be pricey buying many small ones thru out the day. you can eat on the go that way. there is too much see and do. we also split a some meals, especially fish & chips for lunch. an oyster card is a must!!

3rd stay at the Corus

The rooms are very simple but if you're not planning on spending a lot of time there it is perfect. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay but nothing extravagant. Breakfast is fine. Rather than including meals every day, this time I pre-bought two breakfast vouchers for a four night stay. It was perfect!

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Turn right on Bayswater Road to Queensway for "late" night take away. And by late I mean up until midnight. Sort of early for Americans traveling abroad and looking for a midnight snack but it works!

Most requirements covered

Clean, comfortable and nice rooms (executive rooms) warning - standard rooms are small and have bed pushed up against wall, pay the extra. Only compliant was shower was almost useless, dribbled out, no power. Bed was kind of comfy but had that roll together which was a bit annoying. Price excellent, location good. Would stay again for business and pleasure (in exec room) but hope for a better bed and shower.
