- Comfotel is a short walk from Hammersmith HMV Apollo, Shepherds Bush Theatres, Westfield Shopping Centre and Kensington Olympia. A 5 minutes bus ride can be taken to Kensington High Street or you can walk it. Also a short tube ride to West End, Knightsbridge, Oxford Street and all central places.

Poor traveller
There was a little trouble.
The hotel staffs from Pakistan were friendly. Nearest station is Hammer Smith of the Metro tube. Hammer Smith was very convenient to go for city sightseeing because it was a station of the Piccadilly Line. The taxi cab driver waiting in front of Hammer Smith station said to us that the hotel was there immediately on foot, and refused us to take a taxi. It took around 15 minutes on foot with rolling a luggage to the hotel. And what was even worse, we had to go up the stairs of the hotel with our heavy luggage. Nobody did help us. The breakfast was a simple meal of just only bread and coffee. I had paid hotel room charges at the time of a reservation in ebookers site. However, the hotel staff double charge on my credit card at check-in by mistake. At check-out, he apologized me with saying that "My holding company would refund money to your card later".

You should not buy the single ticket of metro, but one day ticket. One day tickt is usefull for the Metro tube and the double decker bus as many times by 23:59 on same day.

hier kann man sparen
Wir (2 personen) hatten das Zimmer im Erdgeschoss das zur Rückseite des Hofes ausgerichtet war. Es war klein , hatte einen Fernseher (mit nur einem Sender), einen Kühlschrank und einem Wasserkocher incl. Teepäckchen. Das Bad war zwar auch klein aber sehr schön und rein. Es gab ein englisches Frühstücksbuffet, das im großen und ganz ok war. Ich glaube für einen Kurztripp nach London , wo man das Hotelzimmer wirklich nur zum Schlafen verwendet ist es wirklich nicht schlecht, da das Preisleistungsverhältniss wirklich sehr fair ist. Das Personal war auch sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das hotel liegt nahe der U-Bahn station hammersmith (picadilly Line) in Zone 2. Man kommt sehr gut zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten außerdem kann man direkt von Heathrow hinfahren (ebenfalls Picadilly Line)

Kuin hieman laadukkaampi hostelli
Muistutti enemmän hostellia, kuin hotellia. Aamupala oli aika pieni ja kotitekoinen, paahtoleipiä, papuja, jugurttia ja muroja sekä munakasta. Huoneemme oli korkeimmassa kerroksessa eli 4. kerroksessa, johon oli melko raskasta nousta painavien laukkujen kanssa, kun portaat olivat jyrkät. Huoneemme oli myös erittäin pieni! Siihen mahtui juuri ja juuri parisänky, ja laukut veivät lopun tilan huoneesta. Ystävällinen henkilökunta oli plussaa.
