Had a very good stay
The location of this hotel could not be any better. I didn't take one cab throughout my stay as every major area of central London was in comfortable walking distance. Boyds was a great hotel bar as well.

Gordon's - oldest wine bar in London. Cool, hip, and casual little spot with an intimate, cave like atmosphere as well as outdoor seating.

Great weekend break
Chosen for its location, not haviing stayed there before, this hotel was excellent. Location cannot be bettered, so much to see and do within a short walk. Room decor, comfort, cleanliness were better than some boutique places I have stayed at. Ours was on the front overlooking Northumberland Ave. It was not noisy despite it being a very busy weekend. We are not corporate members just ordinary public, but that didnt make a differnce to our reception. There is a wonderful foyer and bar/restuarant. The only disappointment was contintental breakfast, with choice very basic and overpriced.

Location, Location, Location
My husband and I stayed here for a couple days while visiting London. This hotel is less than a block from Trafalgar Square, a 15-20 minute walk to Picadilly Circus and great shopping and a block from the Thames River walking bridge. It is a very central location and within easy walking distance to everything. Parliament, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace are also a 10-15 minute walk away. The tube station Charing Cross is not far either. The room was very clean and the hotel has lots of amenities including a work out room, free water bottles, microwave and fridge in room, a business center with printers, a restaurant with bar (although we did not use it) and even a grocery shopping service for guests. We loved it and will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting London.

This hotel is great for someone eager to easily experience the constantly lively West End area which includes theatres, great ethnic restaurants, Chinatown, several great museums, Covent Garden, etc. which are all within easy walking distance. Bus tours that take you to the rest of London are right around the corner. Rooms are compact but clean, modern with comfortable, queen-size bed. Nice staff!

Great location. Very comfortable. Some nice touches.
First of all, location doesn't get any better. I could see the lions of Trafalgar Square from my window. Easy walking to tons of restaurants and shopping at Picadilly, Regent Street, Soho, West End. Really comfortable bed, good (but small) bathroom, and adequate space for storing luggage (though not for two people staying for several days with a fair amount of luggage). Nice business lounge area. Attractive hotel bar. Mineral water dispenser and bottles on each floor. Fitness room was so-so. All in all, I would definitely stay here again if traveling on business and would consider it if traveling on holiday.

Great getaway
Very convenient location, service was excellent, and had a good night's sleep. Had to hail a taxi when leaving which was the only negative point, but the area was busy and a taxi was ready in just a few minutes.

clean, well-located
We were visiting family and the University of London, and found the location and cleanliness of the hotel to be refreshing after a long day out. However London in general is very expensive for the American traveler.

The breakfast options nearby to this hotels are not good. But that is because British food leaves something to be desired. Masala Zone, a upscale Indian restaurant, was excellent for dinner.

Didn't have our booking, otherwise good
We were looking around the town for the weekend and stayed at this hotel. The room was simple, clean, and well lit. The AC worked well on the warm weekend we visited. The desk attendant was very helpful in arranging a cab to the airport.
