Chiswick Moran Hotel - an enjoyable stay
Was interested in a hotel that wouldn't be too far from the London Tube and therefore easy to get to both London's financial district and Heathrow. Chiswick Moran is a good place to stay for anyone on business. Staff and room was great.

Good hotel away from busy city, close to subway
The hotel allowed us to check in early, which was great after a long overnight flight from the US. The hotel is near a subway stop. The room was nice and pretty clean. The shower pressure was awful! Free wifi in the lobby. We booked this room through a discount site and were overall happy with the value and the room.

Family vacation
Overall the hotel was comfortable, clean and in very close proximity to subway transportation. It was very easy to hop on the tube and visit all popular tourist sites. The restaurant in the hotel lobby was a bit overpriced but the food was good. I recommend walking down the road 10 minutes to a small downtown area with some cafes and small restaurants with cheaper good food. Most of the staff was helpful answering questions but not all. I would say the hotel is better suited for business travelers.

Get an all day travel pass and you can take the tube(subway) to all major tourist attractions using any of the subway lines. Also good for buses.

Comfortable Stay
We arrived at the hotel by 8 am for a 6 night stay. We had to wait in the comfortable lobby about 20 minutes for our room to be prepared. The room was huge with a large bathroom. We have stayed in several hotels in London and this is by far the most comfortable one yet.

Better than expected
The hotel was much better than I was expecting, Clean, comfortable and good service. Everybody was professional and very polite. We enjoyed out stay in London.

meh! A huge disappointment
Cost: High, especially since it's in the middle of no where. Location: It's relatively close to Heathrow but not served by airport shuttles. You're better off getting a more centrally located hotel served by high speed trains or airport shuttles. Public Transport: True it's close to Gunnesbury station, but trains are often late and the line is awfully slow. The station is dirty and very sketchy. Steep stairs to the platform, no lift, especially if you have luggage. There are buses at the front door, but it would take you ages to go anywhere from here by bus. Hotel: Come on, no free wifi, except in the lobby! Their website's claim of free wifi is basically not true, The daily cost internet access in your room is prohibitive. We did not eat at the hotel since the menu was quite pathetic. The choice of eating places around the hotel is not great either. Staff: Very helpful and pleasant. Bottom line: definitely not going back.

The hotel was great. The rooms had plenty of room and very clean and the staff was very attentive. The hotel was a little farther out from the main part of London, but the underground tube was only a 3 minute walk, Over all the hotel was better than we expected for hotels in Great Britain. I would stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pilot Pub one block away for dinner and the small cafe 1/2 block away for breakfast. The hotel has a good breakfast, but they only have one price buffet. If you only want light breakfast, you still have to pay the full price buffet price.

The hotel was great. Right off the tube at Gunnersbury, only a block and a half to the hotel. Less than a mile from shops and food. The staff was wonderful and the hotel was very nice. You can get wireless access, but it is expensive. However there are many coffee shops withing walking distance with free wifi. The beds have firm mattresses, which I dont like, but that's a personal preference and the sheets were clean and all was bed bug free. Also, a very safe neighborhood. The restaurant was expensive, but the food was worth the cost. The lobby bar was also nice and the prices were comparable to the pubs in the neighborhood. All around i we recommend this hotel.

Take the tube to camden street and eat from the vendors. Its cheap and the best food we found anywhere! And the shopping is amazing!
