Outstanding location

Hotel location is ideal, a two-minute walk from Holborn tube station, which is a direct journey from Heathrow on the Piccadilly line. British Museum is a five-minute walk and many other sights are within a 15-20 minute walk. The Holborn stop makes travel anywhere in central London easy. Hotel is immaculate. We stayed for five nights in two rooms on the club level, with two double beds in each room, and were very pleased with the size of the rooms and amenities. Our rooms faced High Holborn, but we never noticed traffic noise in what is a very busy area. Nice selection of pubs, shops, etc., within a few minutes' walk, as well as many choices for food and convenience items.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Close to theatre district of Covent Gardens. Went to a show called "Ghost Stories" at the Duke of Yorks theatre and was scared out of our seats. Many theatres and an abundance of shopping close by in every direction from the hotel.

Comfortable and Spacious

Staff were attentive and provided helpful suggestions. The room was spacious (by European standards) and comfortable for myself and two friends. Well located to the Tube,in a business area with several restaurants nearby and within walking distance of Covent Gardens and the West End.

good hotel, especially if you get a deal

I'd say this is a 4.5 star hotel, between 4 and 5 stars. Like most similar hotels, it tends to be too hot. There are small halogen spotlights everywhere pumping out heat. Please, please be green and replace them with cool bulbs! Breakfast is good but not special. Good as part of a deal, not worth 26 pounds. The location is close to the Holborn tube stop, so you don't have to change to get to or from Heathrow. Be aware that the hotel is on the eastern edge of the so-called West End. Everything further east is dead for tourists at nights and weekends.

Excellent hotel in really convenient

Excellent hotel in really convenient location for theatres and museums in West End and surrounding areas. Staff were extremely polite and very attentive. Room was beautifully clean and well presented. Air conditioning /heating worked very well and was unobtrusive. An expensive but stunning hotel and we shall definitely be returning.

Great Location and Hotel Staff

Hotel is in a great location.....just steps from the Holburn tube station and within easy walking distance of British Museum, theaters and good restaurants. Room was large for London standards and very clean.....bath was super....staff friendly and responsive to requests. Only downside was the great bar the hotal has closes at 12:00........and they start turning the lights on brighter at 11;30 to get you to leave.....pretty Mickey Mouse for such a fine establishment. But this is a great value in a nice location

Entertainment tip: Short walk from hotel

Go see "The Mousetrap" at St. Martin's theater within walking distance.......go to the half price ticket booths by Leister Square or in the larger tube stations on the day of the performance to get deals on the tickets.
