Classic King rooms have a King sized bed and overlook the quiet inner court. These rooms comprise of a combined bedroom and living area which include an armchair and coffee table. The restaurant is called "The Albemarle" (formerly the Grill) is situated on the ground floor with its beautiful wood panelling, vaulted ceiling and elegant green banquettes designed by the leading French designer Philippe Hurel. The Albemarle offers the finest quality British cooking. Executive Chef Lee Streeton and Director of Food Mark Hix have created an outstanding menu featuring great British classics alongside many lighter fish and shellfish dishes - all using carefully sourced seasonal ingredients. The English Tea Room which serves award-winning afternoon tea and preserves its famous discreet and elegant setting. The fashionable Donovan Bar serves a wide selection of wines and Champagnes by the glass and distinctive cocktails. Features include iconic black and white photographs by Terence Donovan, wooden floors, stained glass windows and contemporary furnishings.
