Easy to get around London from

a nice plce to stay

I enjoyed my stay at your hotel very much. Would definately consider staying there again. A Little far out of town and getting to and from the DLR with suitcses was not easy. A very nice,but dating hotel, helpful staff. And a reasonable price. Happy Customer

Decent and convenient

Overall the stay was fine. The t.v. was not adequate because they were in the midst of upgrading. The weather was terrible and so the room was cold. The hotel provided a space heater. Overall the stay was a nice one.

Have stayed there a number of

Have stayed there a number of times. really enjoy location and the new docklands development. vert handy for the thames clipper to get to london, also great service from nearby undergrond. Hotel always clean, can appear a bit dated in parts but great value for money.

The rooms were much too hot and

The rooms were much too hot and after being asked to turn down the heat, nothing was done. I booked this hotel for some very prominate people and we will not stay there again.

Pick somewhere else...

The Britannia International Hotel, London...not worth it. The doors never worked right, my back is still recovering from the beds, better hope your television doesn't break in the evening because you wont get a replacement until the next morning (sounds silly but imagine you spent 5 days sightseeing the whole day and you want to just relax and watch some local television), and no alarm clock. There is a TON of construction happening in the area so all the 'views' will be gone soon. My window happen to be facing what appeared to be another hotel going up just a few yards away. Maybe that one will be better.

There's a huge Mall few blocks from the hotel. I noticed it when I was at the turnstiles at the Canary Wharf Tube Station.

Keine 4 Sterne wert - Mottenbefall!!!

Das Hotel ist leider seine 4 Sterne nicht wert. Die Ausstattung ist alt und hat die besten Jahre hinter sich. Zudem wird nicht besonders viel Wert auf Sauberkeit gelegt. Aufgrund der alten Teppiche, Möbel, Vorhänge, etc. und der mangelnden Pflege, waren in meinem Zimmer extrem viele Motten, die sich überall einnisten. Somit musste ich all meine Kleidung in meinem Koffer lassen, damit die Motten keine Möglichkeit haben, an meine Kleidung zu kommen. Half leider nichts, denn sie reisten mit nach Hause. Sehr ärgerlich!!!! Auch ist das Personal (Rezeption) nicht besonders freundlich. Der Preis ist sicherlich angemessen. Würde zukünftig aber lieber mehr investieren, bevor ich solch einen Mottenbefall habe. Die Lage des Hotels ist das einzige, was ausgesprochen gut war, wenn man in den Docklands wohnen möchte. Die Anbindung mit der Tube ist hervorragend und das Viertel ist modern angelegt und mit jeder Menge "Shoppingmöglichkeiten" ausgestattet (z.B. Lebensmittel, Starbucks). Fazit: Ich kann das Hotel nicht empfehlen. Die Lage/das Viertel aber schon.

Gute Lage

Wenn man mit Finanzen zu tun hat ist dieses Hotel wirklich zu empfhlen. Die U- Bahnanbindung ist auch sehr gut
