Best Western Paddington Court Hotel and Suites

WELL, THE STAFF WAS NICE AND HELPFUL. WHEN WE HAD NO HEAT THEY BROUGHT US A HEATER. THE SHOWER WAS SUPER SMALL. THE ROOM WAS ALSO. IT WAS CHEAP THOUGH. I WOULD STAY AGAIN IF THE ROOM HAD HEAT.

It was decently close to Paddington Station. Once in the building, finding my room was like navigating a complex maze. The room itself was barely large enough to turn around in.

Great location - walking distance to Paddington Station. Clean rooms..only issue during the entire stay there was no air. On Wednesday it was 30 degrees celsius! They did provide a fan - though. Entire stay no air.Have stayed there before. [...] The staff is good. Only reason why I am rating them 1 in certain quality parameters is due to the entire length of stay there was no air-conditioning and lack of effort to correct it.

Staff accommodated need to change room when air conditioning not working in original room. However, every time I tried to enter the room, I had to visit the front desk to have the "key" rekeyed. Of the three times I have stayed at the hotel, this has been the nicest sized room I have had. The main desk manager was most helpful...the other desk attendants were not as knowledgeable or helpful.

We showed up to the hotel around nine o'clock after arriving in Paddington station from Heathrow. As is every travelers nightmare, the hotel did not have our reservation and it was [...]fault for they never confirmed our reservation with the hotel. After going back and forth with the front desk and [...]for an hour and a half we finally had a room, after convincing the hotel we had already paid. Once getting to the room, the two "singles" that we booked were in fact two single beds combined together with the same sheets. That seems to be a common trend in Europe. Apart from the check in debacle, the hotel was what was expected. Comfortable room, nice staff and free internet. The area itself wasn't too exciting but it was about a 5 minute walk from Paddington station which provided transportation to most places via train and tube.

We liked the hotel and its great location, within walking distance to Paddingtion train station and Hyde Park. Our room was very clean and updated with all the modern fixes, like a large flat screen TV. The hotel staff was very attentive and responsive in fixing small problems (the previous occupant must have removed the batteries from the remote control). The bed was comfortable but it nearly took up the entire room, making it difficult to have 2 normal size suitcases for 2 travelers in the room. We had to evict the desk chair from the room in order to make space for our 2nd suitcase. The room size would have better accommodated a single bed for 1 traveler but the hotel put in a double bed for 2 people, selling it as a double room and thus, making it very cramped for 2 adults. The bathroom was updated and very clean but the shower stall openning was extremely small, making it difficult to get in and out it without assistance from my traveling companion. Most average-sized Americans would not be able to fit through the shower door openning with any ease. Overall value was good but the hotel should have sold our room as a single rather than trying to cram 2 adults in such a small space. Americans who are used to more personal space in lodging should reconsider the potentially crammed space of a standard double room at this hotel.

Room was very small for business travelers, but the location is good and internet included.

Hot water wasn't working as their boiler had packed in. They compd breakfast, but only after we hassled them. This is an okay tourist hotel. It's functional and I'd go back, but not if I'm celebrating or after something a bit special.

The rooms are clean and aircon but very small and we wonder how taller people can manage in such a small shower. Brekfast is served in a small room in the Basement with many people at the time when we were there. A lot of hectic and loud. Rather go to a different breabfast restaurant in this area.

The staff at the reception dsesk was rather inefficient. First we were sent to a room in the basement, which was really tiny and it was impossible to shut the window. Then we were moved to another room across the street in the basement again which had not been renovated for the last ten years. The wallpaper was peeling, the shower was poor. It was bigger, but too shabby for its 4 stars. The armchair was dilapidated. And the service was really poor.
