really enjoyed it

only frustrating thing was the restaurant and therefore room service was not offered the week I was there due to hotel GB channel 4 production preparation - there was no advance notice of this and no signeage to that effect either - there are not many restaurants in direct vicinity, but those that are there are very good and there is a grocery store accross the square - on Friday and Saturday very interesting markets are set up in the square...

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Great dining in the local area. Village East and the Garrison, being a couple of the more notable.

Good Hotel

Hotel is new so staff are trying hard, the rooms even have that new carpeting smell. I wonder if they can keep it up however, as my bathroom was starting to get some mildew on the tile and my desk chair kept scraping against the wall because it is too big to put behind the desk without hitting the wall, these are some of the design flaws about the hotel that will make it tire quickly. They have safe boxes big enough for a laptop but they are not in the room, so you have to ask every time you need to get in-go to reception and then up to the first floor. The business center is also the offices for the hotel so it isn't like your going to sit in there and work or anything.

Money-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a farmers market on Saturdays right outside the hotel, good for quick snacks, the Sainsbury's mini supermarket is right across the square so you can stock the mini fridge.
