Apollo Hotel

I showed up and they refused to honor my reservation saying that they had nothing to do with [...]. They offered to give me another room at the "same" rate. But if I insisted on using a credit card they would charge me VAT (about 20 pounds more)....which I did.the room was awful -- the kind of place that bad tour companies stick people in -- 4 single beds. Not noisy though and the bathroom was ok.and it was not cheap either... taking account of London prices

Friendly & helpful front desk. Basic accommodation with clean linen,hot water, adequate breakfast. Good Value. Some public areas dusty due to building works.

The hotel staff was very helpful. Hotel location is very near to Queensway and Bayswater underground station. The shopping area is just around the corner. For Malaysians the Malaysian Hall is just a few doors away. We were very lucky to be upgraded to a 3-beded room.For my next visit to London,i will not hesitate to book this hotel again.

One of the best Hotel I have ever stayed in London only wish my stay there was longer

A very clean & apt budget alternative. The rooms are nice and have comfortable beds. The breakfast included is a bonus (cornflakes and croissants) and many much more expensive hotels in the area do not provide this service. Not all of the staff would win a charm award but they are all very willing to help you solve whatever problems you might have (e.g. ironing a shirt or making special arrangements). We did enjoy our stay.

I was very dissapointed when I Arrived for luckily a one night stay. Facilities are very poor, no elevator and no assistance with bags. TV in room had poor reception and fixtures within room were damaged. Showered with Luke warm water, Cannot comment on food as I didn't wish to risk it and just wanted to leave asap!! the worst expierience I have ever had. Avoid..!

I arrived at the hotel via train on my first trip ever to Europe. The hotel insisted my reservation had been cancelled. I was never notified of this and neither was Orbitz. The manager was rude, refused to talk to me on the phone and claimed they knew no other hotels in the area that they could even recommend!!! The hotel charged me credit card and Orbitz was able to eventually refund it, but the hotel refused any further compensation. We were forced to stay at a more expensive hotel, which we checked into at 1am, on the other side of town. DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU PLAN OR YOUR RESERVATION BEING THERE!!!! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! RUINED MY TRIP TO LONDON!!!!!

Rooms was nothing like the brochure, very small was the room & shower room it was so small you could hardly move. Breakfast there was not enough choices. But i must say it was located to most attractions & the beds was comfy with clean sheets.

Good enough for the price I paid.

Wenn man nur einen Schlafplatz braucht ist das Hotel mit seiner Lage eine preiswerte Möglichkeit, London zu erkunden. Frühstück sehr einfach: Milchbrötchen, Marmelade, Cornflakes, Kaffee, aber von allem soviel man will.
