Everything guests need while staying near the Tower Bridge
Centrally located and extremely convenient, the Apex City of London Hotel offers guests contemporary yet luxurious style. When visiting London on business, guests are in the perfect location, as the hotel stands within the heart of London's business and financial districts. However, as a family traveling with children, guests are not disappointed since numerous dining, entertainments, and shopping venues are all located near the Apex City of London Hotel. One way or the other, there are no disappointments for guests of this facility.

- We are on the doorstep of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. We are near the gigantic O2 arena. We're not much further from the bustle and boutiques of the West End. London city hotels have never been this good.

- Apex City of London hotel is near Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. We're close to the heart of the financial and business district, which means we're surrounded by London landmarks, including St Paul's Cathedral, the Bank of England and the Swiss Re Building, better known as The Gherkin. Getting here by mainline or underground train couldn't be easier. Tower Hill and Aldgate are the closest London Underground stations to the hotel. Get out at either one of these stops and we're only a short walk away. Fenchurch Street Station is the nearest mainline station to us. Once again, it is only a few minutes by foot to our door. Tower Gateway is the closest Docklands Light Railway stop to the hotel. Across the road from Tower Hill tube station, it is well within walking distance of the hotel.

- The Apex City of London Hotel, based in the financial district of London just minutes from Tower Hill underground station and close to London City Airport - the perfect place to do business! There are three rooms in the conference centre, chic and stylish with light reflective black glass table tops and they all come with an impressive range of facilities; TV and video, projector, flipchart, fax and phone, wi-fi internet access, ice-cold drinks fridge, complimentary fresh fruit platter and snacks. The City suite is the largest of the meeting rooms, holding up to 80 delegates. It's perfect for theatre-style presentations, announcements and press conferences, receptions and private meals and banquets. The Geneva and New York rooms are perfect as breakout rooms or for theatre-style sessions for up to 40. The New York room opens on to a private courtyard.

Great Value/Well Done
I found the Apex to be a very pleasant surprise. First of all, the rooms are quite large by European standards, and the hotel is well appointed and clean. I'm a frequent visitor to London & have stayed all over the city. Although the Apex is a bit far from the more notable tourist areas, I actually prefer this location to other locales. It's safe, quiet & there are several Pubs & eating places close by, including a Prett just next door. If you're strictly there to shop or for West End shows there are probably more convenient locales, but with the Tower Hill Tube station a block away, you can get from the Apex to anywhere in Central London quickly and easily. I will definitely be staying at the Apex next time I'm in London.

If you're Using the Tube to travel from the Apex to Heathrow, change from the District Line to Piccadilly at Hammersmith. No steps to climb as both leave from the same track. Simply step off, wait for the Heathrow train and hop on.

Overall, a nice hotel
Good location right near the metro, slightly tucked away off the main road. Free wifi, good sized room with a sofa, closet space, etc. Bathroom somewhat disappointing but entirely functional.

The perfect long weekend getaway
Staff was extremely helpful and let us check into the hotel very early in the morning, as soon as we got into town. The hotel is excellent: modern, clean, comfortable, quiet, in a great neighborhood close to Tower of London/Tower Bridge/London Bridge/Monument, with lots of great, inexpensive restaurants nearby. Metro is REALLY close (2-minute walk) and has easy connections to anywhere in the center. You'd be at Piccadilly in 20 minutes. Great cocktails at the bar, spacious rooms, great overall value for the money. Will definitely stay there again.

Apex City of London Hotel
After a two week stay in other cities in England, the Apex was an oasis of civilization. It was close to the Tube and close to the Tower so traveling around the city and Heathrow was easy. It was the best hotel I have every stayed in.

A fantastic clean, modern and professional hotel. The hotel room was sizeable and very comfortable. It was a great stay and only a couple minutes from the Tower of London.

A quiet harbour in the heart of the City
The APEX City of London Hotel may be a business hotel but its situated very good to explore London with The Tower and the London Monument within walking distance. The room was a bit small and really a bad surprise NO HEATING in the stylish bathroom. The always very friendly and helpful staff provided us with a transportable heater - not really a solution in a four star rated Hotel.

There are some nice places for breakfast nearby. Dining may be a bit difficult in walking distance. You find a TESCO supermarket open also in the evening on the way to London Monument .

great location
The best part about the hotel for me was the location. It was very close to the tube. My son was nearby going to school four stops away.
