I was given a room on the 4th
I was given a room on the 4th floor at first. The water pressure was so low that I had to crouch in the shower cubicle. Internet access was only from the lobby and was slow, and not working at all some of the time. They moved me to a tiny room on the 3rd floor - but at least the shower worked. Anywhere else in the world you would never stay in this hotel - but for London it is probably reasonable value...

Marginal at Best
This hotel was marginal. The bathroom had recently been redone but very little thought was put into it. There were no towel racks, no soap dishes. The shower head kept falling off the holder and the drain clogged up. We reported those issues and the drain worked better on our second night but we still had to tie the shower head up with a broken set of ear buds. The front desk staff were nice but not knowledgeable. They did not seem to recognize the Orbitz certificate and did not know if the room was paid or not. That same desk staff wanted a 5 pound depoist on a second room key. The key was one of the plastic cards that probably cost .40. The beds were very old, some of the towels were very ragged. The room did feel clean and we slept well despite the age of the furnishings. There was no where to plug in a hair dryer where you could see in a mirror and that was a bummer. They did lend us a hair dryer and an iron and the room came with it's own fan which was very welcome because it was hot this past week in London. The location was the only great thing about this hotel. It was very easy access to the underground. There were a number of nice places to eat on Cromwell Road with in a two to three block distance. I don't know that we would stay here again but in a pinch I guess we would.

We bought tickets for the double decker bus tours but the were so slow and bogged down in traffic that we did not get to see much in the time we rode it. A much better deal is the day pass on the undergound and then use the map from the Big Bus Company and you can get to all the attractions with easy. The City Boat Tour was very enjoyable.

My room was at the front of the building and as there is a continuous balcony shared by several rooms it was impossible to leave the window open although London was experiencing a heatwave and there was only a small fan which soon broke down. Breakfast just OK.

The room was very very small and the bed was the same. The doors on to the varandah could not be locked and it is very near a noisy road with no ventilation so it could have been better. I doubt if I would stay there again but maybe London doesnt have decent sized hotels unless you pay a fortune. Staff were very nice though.

The room was very small but had everything we needed including tea and coffee making facilities, breakfast was very good the choice was good as well as a nice area to eat in, the location was very good, close to the tube and attractions.

also das hotel war eines der besten
also das hotel war eines der besten in dem ich je in london war. gerade frisch renoviert, super netter nachtportier, super service, frühstücksbuffett sogar mit frischem obst..werde ganz sicher bei meinem nächsten besuch in london wieder dort übernachten.
