130 Queen's Gate, Kensington offers some of the finest apartments within minutes of London's main attractions. The neo-classical style property which originally functioned as four stylish townhouses in the 1870's, is located in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The Capital's trio of celebrated museums, the Natural History, Science and Victoria and Albert Museums, are located around the corner, with the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park and other famous sights within easy reach. The area also offers some of the most fashionable shopping, including Harrods and Harvey Nichols department stores. They have 50 luxury serviced apartments in Kensington ranging from 4-bed-roomed penthouses right through to studio apartments. While retaining its period features, apartments offer uncluttered modern luxury for everyone from the single business/leisure visitor to couples, families and extended families. Maximizing light and space, each serviced apartment is furnished in an elegant, international style that oozes quality and comfort. ************************************************* IMPORTANT TERMS AND CONDITIONS: Payment Outside of the period from 1st June to 15th September 2012, we require full pre-payment of accommodation and a security deposit upon arrival.. During the period from 1st June to 20th July 2012 there is a minimum of 4 (four) weeks stay and we require one week non-refundable deposit at the time of booking in order to confirm the reservation. Full pre-payment of the balance is required 30 days prior to arrival date otherwise the booking will be released. *** Olympics Period During the Olympics period (from 20th July up to 15 September) there is a minimum of 2 (two) weeks minimum stay and we require full prepayment (NON-REFUNDABLE) of accommodation rental in order to confirm the booking. Credit Card Charges Outside the Summer period your card will NOT be charged at the time of booking but simply used to guarantee the reservation. The card will only be charged if you fail to arrive at the apartment without prior cancellation (see cancellation policy below). Please note that payments made by credit/debit card attract a surcharge of 3.5% for American Express, 3% for Mastercard or Switch/Maestro and 2% for Visa. Payment with a debit card from a UK Bank will not attract any charges but all other debit card will be charged as above Cards Accepted American Express, Mastercard, Switch/Maestro, Visa. Security Deposit Please note that at check in we require a security/deposit which is usually an authorization on the guest credit card and this authorisation will be cancelled following settlement of any outstanding balance on your bill at check out and after an inventory check out has been made. An authorisation is NOT DEBITED from the cardholders account. The amount is held for a short period of time and is automatically cancelled. Please see charges below: Security deposit/ damages Charge Studio - 300.00 One bedroom - 500.00 Two Bedrooms - 800.00 Three bedrooms - 1,000.00 Penthouse - 2,000.00 Cancellation Policy Outside of the period from 15th June to 15th September 2012: Notification of cancellation is required 14 days prior to arrival. For bookings cancelled less than 14 days prior to arrival you would be liable for the full cost of the stay unless the apartment can be re-let. Once you have checked in you must give us 14 days notice in case of a reduction on your stay or the same policy will apply. During the period from 15 June to 20th July 2012 Notification of Cancellation policy is required 30 days prior to arrival date and subject to re-letting on a short notice. . Apartment Studio with one king or two twin beds includes modern open-plan living for the fuss-free visitor who is looking for the luxury trimmings which characterize all apartments in the property. Two Bedroom Apartment
Apartment Apartment with one queen or one twin and one sofa bed includes two separate bedrooms with fitted cupboards, a queen sized bed in the master bedroom and single bed in the second bedroom. One bathroom fitted with bath/power shower, fully fitted kitchen. Lounge/dining area with sofa bed.
Three Bedroom Apartment
Apartment Apartment with two king beds or one queen and one sofa bed includes fitted with custom designed wardrobes. The master bedroom comes with a Queen sized bed and ensuite bathroom, a King sized bed in the main guest bedroom and King sized bed in the third bedroom. The two bathrooms are both fitted with a bath/power shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality modern appliances with access to a small courtyard. Excellent short term home in Knightsbridge/ South Kensington

130 is much improved since its refurbishment. We had a studio apartment which had all we needed- a lounge/ diner, separate kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Very quite even though room at front. Some signs of wear from guests who has not treated the rooms well. Reception good although as a UK citizen I was surprised to be asked for ID. Overall recommended and would re use.

Wonderful getaway

This is a great choice! It was, without a doubt, the best hotel we've ever used. It was close to 2 tube stops that were an easy walk away. The street and surrounding areas were quiet. We felt like we were in our own private apartment and there were no other guests around, although I know that wasn't the case. Do be aware that the standard room will be a basement room. It looks just like the pictures but is a little dark. We upgraded and it was worth the cost. We had a lovely balcony with seating that looked out over the rooftops of South Kensington and the towers of the Science Museum. The staff was friendly, knew the area well, and could make suggestions for things to see and do, where to shop, etc. Since we arrived early in the morning before our room was ready, they willingly stored our luggage for us, so we could get a start on our vacation. We would definitely go back again.
