Our multi-coloured, and impossible-to-miss - Liverpool boutique hotel takes its inspiration from the citys cotton trading heritage. Unique among Liverpool hotels, our building sits where the cotton warehouses used to be. You’ll notice that its striking style is based on vividly coloured dyes. Bright yellows, purples, greens and oranges make a statement about the area’s heritage and forge a connection between the past and present of this enthralling metropolis. The evolution of Liverpool has inspired the essence of our hotel, from the bold designs of the bedrooms right through to the music played in our lobby. Splashes of colour, cotton and threads can be seen lovingly woven into our rooms, lobby and corridors, reflecting the area’s cotton trading heritage. While you’re here, be sure to check out our Liverpool-influenced Cotton Lounge. We love introducing our guests to local flavours, so ask our bar staff to make you our signature Cotton Candy Cocktail! The famous Echo Arena is a ten minute walk away, while up and coming bands play at many of the city's more intimate venues. Liverpool is home to a plethora of museums, cafes and galleries dedicated to The Beatles. The shopping, galleries and many attractions of Albert Dock are also close by. And if you're an art fan, a visit to the Walker Art Gallery or Tate Liverpool is a must. Find out more in the Local guide section, then What’s Nearby".

Great

This is a very comfortable boutique hotel, and the desk clerk did a great job in giving me a quiet room as I requested. Free wireless in the room, free mini-bar (water, soda, KitKat bar), lots of TV channels. Most importantly, the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the Albert Dock, with its various museums, and its tourist office where one can buy tickets for the Magical Mystery Tour bus that gives a great view of various Beatles locations. It is about a 20-minute walk from the Liverpool Lime Street train station, and the route is a bit tricky - I would recommend a taxi if arriving after dark, but when leaving, I walked back to the train station during the day without any problem, and saw a lot of interesting buildings along the way.

Refreshing

This hotel is fabulous, so new and unique. The rooms were beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't the usual buffet, very good. There always seemed to be a taxi right outside the door when we needed one. Close to everything. We went to the bar in the hotel one evening and met a delightful bartender. He actually cared about his job and was excited that we were willing to try something new. He had found some recipes in an old book and made a few for us. Best drinks I ever had and so much fun!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

Everyone in Liverpool is dressed in the latest fashions, from grandma to kiddies. Bold St. has vintage clothing and new clothing with vintage lace etc. We were inspired to shop, shop, shop. Don't skip the Beetles tour, I thought it might be hokey but it was delightful and fun.

Excellent Place to Stay in Liverpool

I spent a weekend here with my girlfriend. The hotel is very cool, beds are excellent, room is clean - only negative would be that you can hear everything in the halls, especially in the mornings when the housekeeping are cleaning the other rooms. Overall the place is great, their minibar is even free!! Would definitely recommend as the hotel is great and the location is perfect.
